History

Rise of Hun Tianchen

Hun Tianchen became the Hun Clan's Young Clan Leader at sixteen after reaching the peak of Nine-Star Dou Ancestor without relying on the Dou God Bloodline. His appointment provoked resentment among younger members such as Hun Feng, Hun Yu, Hun Ya, and Hun Li, but none dared openly oppose him. 1

The clan's long-term objective was to obtain the Dou Di bloodlines of the other Ancient Races and have Nihility Devouring Flame consume them, thereby strengthening the Hun Clan and extending its existence. 30 Under Hun Tianchen, the clan also pursued the Tou She Ancient God Jade, beginning with the Xiao Clan's piece. 3 20

Hun Tianchen created the Soul Dragon by gathering the Hun Clan's inherited Luck Force. This let him carry the clan's fate and counterbalance his originally near-zero personal Luck Force. 7

Conflict with the Ancient Clan

The Hun Clan's conflict with the Ancient Clan escalated after the Hall of Souls mobilized to protect Hun Tianchen from an Ancient Clan interception force. Hun Tianchen used the Soul Dragon to suppress enemy cultivation and empower allied forces. 16

The resulting battle ended in a crushing Hun Clan victory. Hall of Souls forces killed Ancient Clan combatants, harvested souls and Luck Force, and captured Gu Xun'er. Hun Miesheng openly declared the ambition to leave the Hun Clan as the sole remaining Ancient Clan. 17

Gu Yuan later surrendered the Ancient Clan's Tou She Ancient God Jade in exchange for Gu Xun'er's safety. Hun Tiandi subsequently appointed Hun Tianchen as Acting Clan Leader while entering seclusion. 21

Civil War and Change of Leadership

Hun Tiandi's plan to possess Hun Tianchen's body and use it to advance toward Dou Di eventually became known. He intended to elevate Hun Tianchen politically and cultivate him into a suitable vessel before taking his body and ruling the Hun Clan in his name. 88

Hun Tianchen opposed this plan, arguing that Hun Tiandi intended to sacrifice the entire Hun Clan for his own breakthrough. He recruited elders and key figures—including Hun Yuantian and Hun Yang—to his side. 104 164

The conflict developed into open civil war. Hun Tiandi deployed secret forces led by Hun Ying to seize Hun Tianchen, while the resurrected Supreme Elders and Nihility Devouring Flame formed the Four Directions Perish, Realm of Death to restrain the patriarch. 164 166

After Hun Tiandi disappeared, the clan leader's throne remained vacant. Hun Tianchen effectively ran the Hun Clan but withheld a formal succession announcement because Hun Tiandi's status had not been fully resolved. 212

Expansion and Ancient Jade Campaign

Under Hun Tianchen, the Hun Clan destroyed the Ling Clan and Shi Clan with minimal losses. Their realms were consumed by Nihility Devouring Flame and the Soul Dragon to conceal the operations. 221

The clan later infiltrated the Ancient, Yan, Lei, and Yao Clans through possessed or compromised elders, stealing their Ancient Jades while simultaneously attacking the Ancient Realm. 270 271 273 By this point, the Hun Clan had assembled all eight Ancient Jades and could pursue the Tou She Ancient God's Cave Mansion. 274
