The Jie Realm is the culmination of the five-major-realm Human Race Martial Dao sequence, which spans from the Body Realm to the Jie Realm across fifteen minor realms 514.

The transition from Extreme Realm to Jie Realm requires “intercepting other creations,” transforming one’s physique and becoming something no longer wholly human 875. Jie Realm advancement is a transformation from mortal to god: Human Race martial artists must intercept and fuse with Xiantian spiritual essence, thereby establishing a foundation for their later Dao Realm advancement 927 934.

Jie Realm beings gather the might of heaven and earth within themselves through what is described as plundering the world, making them marked and rejected by the Heavenly Dao 927. Accordingly, a successful breakthrough naturally invites heavenly tribulation.

Ordinary practitioners of the Nether Prison Flame True Law must obtain and merge with an ancient Nether Prison Fragment, then survive its corruption and explosive force to form the Nether Prison Dao Body 927.
