The Day of Execution
In the Sokyoku Hill, in Rukia's cell, Rukia opened her eyes. She looked energetic, completely unlike the dejected woman in the original work. She held a knife in her hand, yet remained calm.
Today is the day of execution. If nothing unexpected happens, Rukia will be taken to Sōkyoku for execution today, and Ichigo and his Ichigo of idiots will definitely be there too.
Footsteps sounded outside. Rukia composed herself and looked up. It was Bleach, who was guarding her.
The cell door opened. "Rukia Kuchiki, today is the day of your execution. Come out!"
Rukia did not resist. She slowly stood up and followed the two Grim Bleach were guarding her out. She walked very slowly, and the two Bleach did not urge her, Rukia leave the Sokyoku Hill.
Seeing that only two Bleach were guarding her, Rukia knew this was the best time for her to escape. To escape or not to escape? And if she escaped, would her strength really be enough to handle the captains' pursuit?
Stepping out of the Sokyoku Hill, Rukia realized that her concerns were completely unnecessary. At the entrance of the Sokyoku Hill stood a large, orderly line of Bleach, who had come to escort Rukia to the Sōkyoku.
Even nobles couldn't match this kind of entourage, could they? Rukia gave a wry smile; her entourage was truly extravagant.
Rukia, in the Sokyoku Hill, was of course unaware that Tsuna and his group had taken down almost half of the Seireitei's captains. This was all part of the First Division's plan, as they were also afraid that the Ryoka would come and kidnap Rukia.
Moreover, the Vice-Captain of the First Division Chōjirō Sasakibe, personally led the escort, leaving no opportunity for the Ryoka to take advantage of the situation.
Sasakibe walked up to Rukia, holding a piece of paper in his hand. It was Rukia's crimes, and it also had Rukia's portrait on it.
Sasakibe carefully compared Rukia with the charges against her. "It's confirmed to be Rukia Kuchiki herself. Take her away!"
Sasakibe didn't even glance at Rukia, and Rukia didn't argue. The guilt had already been determined, and there was no point in proclaiming her innocence at this point.
Escorted by a large team, Rukia slowly walked towards the Sōkyoku. There were no escort vehicles or anything like that; Rukia walked entirely on her own, which had a bit of a public parade feel to it. The purpose of walking to the Sōkyoku was to intimidate the restless Bleach within the Seireitei.
The moment Rukia stepped out, a long-absent man appeared in the Four Great Noble Clans's training ground.
"Everyone, Rukia has already headed towards Sōkyoku. It's time for us to set off." The newcomer was Urahara Kisuke, a strange smile on his face.
"Manager! Weren't you supposed to be minding the shop? What are you doing in Soul Society?" Ichigo pointed at Urahara Kisuke and questioned him loudly. He had previously invited Urahara to come to Soul Society with him, but Urahara had refused.
"Oh, I just finished what I was doing?" Urahara started lying to the kids again.
"It's a lie, absolutely a lie!" Even Ichigo couldn't be fooled this time. "Tsuna, don't you think so?"
"Stop fooling around, pack your things and get ready to leave. Did you remember everything I told you to remember?" Tsuna said.
"I've memorized it all, so why do I have to be the one to save Rukia?" Ichigo asked.
Tsuna assigned tasks to all of them to avoid chaos and allow Aizen to easily succeed. The situation needed to be deadlocked so that someone could reap the benefits.
"Weren't you the one who was going to repay the favor? Why don't you switch to Renji? He'd definitely be willing," Tsuna said.
Renji was about to rush forward, but thinking of Rukia's safety, he couldn't muster any enthusiasm. "Forget it, let Ichigo go instead. I'm afraid my strength isn't enough to handle a million Zanpakuto."
Renji now fully aware of the gap between himself and Ichigo. Ichigo was able to defeat him without even using his Bankai. If he were to risk Rukia Rukia trying to save her, Renji would not be able to live with himself.
The Sōkyoku Execution is a torture device that, after liberation, possesses the destructive power of a million Zanpakuto. Its power is astonishing; Bleach pierced through the body by this attack has no chance of survival. This is a complete and utter death sentence from the Seireitei.
Knowing the terror of the Sōkyoku, Renji hesitated. On the contrary, Ichigo was very excited and couldn't wait to try out the power of a million Zanpakuto.
While the group was chatting, all of Tsuna's classmates from the World of the Living had already gathered. Soi Fon and Unohana Retsu had already left, having gone to a meeting the previous night. Apparently, all the captains were going to attend the ceremony at Sōkyoku to prevent the Ryoka from causing trouble.
As for Ginjo and Tsukishima, Tsuna specifically told them not to get involved. The fewer people noticed their spiritual pressure, the better, as that would give Ukitake more time to deal with the Tsunayashiro Clan.
"Alright, everyone stand still, put this on." Yoruichi walked over carrying a large box and tossed a large cloak to each person from it. "These things can conceal your presence. We'll be lying in ambush near Sōkyoku later, and that old man won't be easily fooled."
"If you have something this good, why didn't you bring it out before, shopkeeper?" Ichigo asked, knowing without a doubt who made this item.
"If you take it out, you'll have fewer opportunities to train, won't you? Mr. Kurosaki, at least you're stronger than before, aren't you?" Urahara said.
While everyone was putting on their cloaks, Tsuna walked up to Urahara and asked softly, "Is everything ready?"
"Of course, we've already given them the method while we were at it," Urahara said, covering his mouth.
"Isn't that too cruel?"
"I also want to know if he still has any feelings for me, after all these years." Urahara glanced at Orihime. "Besides, with Miss Inoue here, there's no need to worry."
"Just don't give up."
"Without the mindset of a strong person, one will naturally become ordinary."
"What are you two whispering about?" Ichigo asked, squinting as he leaned closer.
"I asked the manager if he had called Hirako and the others," Tsuna said immediately.
"Oh right, Hirako are here too. Have they entered Seireitei yet? I didn't hear the Kakkaku Cannon barging in." Ichigo suddenly realized that he hadn't seen Hirako and the others for a while.
"Don't worry, these old foxes have plenty of ways to get in." Tsuna pointed with his hand, "Look, did you know the shopkeeper came to Seireitei?"
"That's true."
Tsuna ignored Ichigo and walked over to Tatsuki to straighten her cloak. "Just do your best. If you can't stop them, let them go. There are plenty of strong fighters there. Don't risk your life."
"I understand, you're here, aren't you?" Tatsuki said with a smile.
No matter how slowly Rukia walked, she eventually reached her destination. A cliff in the Seireitei, shaped like a semi-triangular pyramid, was the Sogyoku Hill. All the Bleach guards stopped in front of the Sogyoku Hill; they were not qualified to go up there today.
The group separated, Sasakibe at the front of the group, Sparrow, walked up to Rukia. He didn't say anything, but simply gestured for Rukia to continue walking forward.
Under the arrangement of the First Division, there were no Bleach below the rank of captain on Sogyoku Hill today. The reason why Sasakibe was able to go up was not only because he was the Vice-Captain of the First Division, but more importantly because he had mastered Bankai and had the ability to protect himself.
Under the watchful eye of the Sasakibe, Rukia walked step by step toward the Sogyoku Hill. The Bleach who had escorted her immediately jogged back toward the Sokyoku Hill, also to avoid harming them.
Upon reaching the middle of the Sōkyoku, Rukia saw all the captains standing on the Sōkyoku waiting for her. The captains stood in two rows, with the Captain-Commander standing in the middle holding a cane. This was truly a legendary captains' meeting.
Behind the Captain-Commander was a massive spear, as tall as a four- or five-story building, wrapped with hemp rope and erected on a conical frame. Behind this spear was an equally enormous execution platform, capable of withstanding the impact of a million Zanpakuto.
As Rukia stood before the captains, she heard the Sasakibe begin to pronounce judgment on Rukia crimes.
"Rukia Kuchiki, formerly a member of the 13th Division, was sentenced to Central 46 Sōkyoku Execution for illegally transferring Bleach powers to a human while on a mission to guard the World of the Living. The sentence is carried out today!"
Rukia's expression was calm; she seemed completely oblivious to Sasakibe's words. Her eyes were fixed on the empty spot in the captain's formation. No one had told her that Aizen was the mastermind, but she instinctively felt that Aizen suspicious. Ichigo wouldn't have gone too far with the captain, so why wasn't Sosuke Aizen, the Fifth Division Captain, present for this execution?
"If you've heard me clearly, then you can leave!"
Sasakibe called out, waking Rukia. Rukia nodded gently and walked past the captains step by step toward the tip of the Sogyoku Hill.
As Rukia walked past him, Jūshirō Ukitake was about to say something when he saw Kyōraku's silent gaze standing diagonally opposite him. Now was not the time; with Tsuna's strength, there was no need to fear that Rukia would die from the Sōkyoku Execution.
As Rukia walked by, each captain had a different expression on their face.
Ukitake was worried about Rukia's safety, while Kurotsuchi Mayuri looked at the Sōkyoku with a hint of amusement, as if he wanted to study Sōkyoku power. Kenpachi Zaraki, was bored and indifferent to everything.
Toshiro was resting with his eyes closed; this execution had nothing to do with him. But was it really unrelated?
Kaname Tōsen n't see his eyes, Shunsui Kyōraku was stopping Ukitake, and Sajin Komamura was looking at the person who couldn't see him, still holding a sliver of hope in his heart.
Byakuya Kuchiki's eyes were lifeless, as if Rukia Kuchiki had nothing to do with him, but his legs had already subtly tensed.
The 5th Division was empty. Gin Ichimaru Unohana Retsu watching Aizen's position, while Unohana Retsu squinted at her. Aizen hadn't told him yet that this woman had already discovered the problem, but even if she had, Aizen didn't care.
Soi Fon lightly tapped her toes; she was already feeling a bit bored and wanted to finish quickly so she could go back to Lady Yoruichi. Why hadn't Yuushirou grown up yet? If so, she could hand over the Squad 2 to Yūshirō Shihōin and travel the world with Yoruichi.
Of those present, only Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto and Chōjirō Sasakibe were actually doing their jobs. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto opened his narrowed eyes a crack and glared angrily at Rukia, who had broken the rules and brought about the Ryoka Rukia, disrupting the Seireitei!
Standing at the foot of the gallows, Sasakibe placed two cubes on Rukia's wrists. Guided by spiritual energy, Rukia spread her arms like a cross and slowly flew up to the top of the gallows.
Once Rukia was settled on the execution rack, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto gave the order, "Begin the execution!"
