Sharp Soul Cutter

Of all the Seven Earth Attributes, the most suitable for Soul Cutter is undoubtedly the flame of the forest!

A six-pointed star pattern reappeared behind Tsuna, this time illuminated by a leaf pattern symbolizing the flames of the forest.

Whoosh! Suddenly, waves rose from the flat ground. Circles of leaves began to swirl around Tsuna. These seemingly ordinary leaves possessed powerful attack capabilities among the Seven Earth Attributes fire elements.

Sharp; sharp enough to cut through anything.

Under the control of the forest flames, the leaves transformed into tiny blades that gathered on the Soul Cutter. The blade of the Soul Cutter gradually reformed, and a slender blade composed of Reishi particle leaves was held in Tsuna's hand.

The original Forest Flame provided Tsuna with a weapon similar to boxing, and its user, Aoba Koyo, was modeled after the Sun Guardian, Ryohei Sasagawa.

But the moment he pulled out the Soul Cutter, Tsuna denied the power originally provided by the Forest Flame. He reconstructed the Vollständig of the Forest Flame, and all the Reishi gathered on this Soul Cutter.

After being tempered by the forest flames, the Soul Cutter underwent a transformation, its surface now covered with patterns of thorns and leaves, Tsuna's forest-attribute Vollständig was fully condensed into this sword.

When the blade was completed, the Soul Cutter had been completely transformed; it is now Tsuna's exclusive Forest Blade.

"No, Tsuna..."

Ichigo stared in disbelief at everything that was happening. He had only been talking nonsense; he never expected that Tsuna would actually pull out a Soul Cutter, and that the Quincy's Soul Cutter would be fused with it.

"No, what?"

While Ichigo was still in Ichigo daze, Tsuna had already appeared in front of him, wielding the Forest Blade. In his haste Ichigo only had time to use his Spirit Bow to block it.

He managed to block it, but that sword was so strange; blocking Tsuna's attack wasn't the end, but the beginning.

Countless tiny yet sharp needle-like blades emanated from the sword's edge as it stabbed towards Ichigo's arm.

In pain, Ichigo quickly unleashed his spiritual pressure to dispel the needles on his arm and leaped again to create distance.

The arm was covered with numerous fine cuts, from which blood flowed, making it look as if Tsuna had crippled half of the arm in the blink of an eye.

Ichigo shook his hand helplessly. Fortunately, he reacted quickly enough that the tiny blades only grazed his skin and did not penetrate his arm to cause serious injury.

But if Ichigo had been any slower, he had no doubt that his arm would have been shredded into mincemeat by Tsuna's knife.

"Tsuna, what's with that Soul Cutter you're using?" Ichigo shouted, raising his voice as he had run so far.

Tsuna, however, glided towards Ichigo at a leisurely pace, explaining, "The Forest Flame's characteristic is sharpness; the blade of Soul Cutter is composed of Reishi."

The only physical part of Tsuna's Forest Blade is the part Tsuna holds; the rest is a creation of Reishi. If it weren't for the green forest flames that entwine it, it would practically be an invisible sword.

Therefore, Tsuna can freely change the blade of the Forest Blade; it can be a longsword, a short dagger, or a whip. Tsuna can switch the blade to any form as he wishes.

"By the way, why didn't you use your Blut Vene? You look so disheveled." Tsuna found it somewhat amusing.

Ichigo's face gradually flushed. He wasn't very familiar with the Quincy's power and had momentarily forgotten about the useful technique, the Blut Vene Armor.

"Damn it, take this!" Tsuna's taunts, coupled with the fact that Tsuna had brought out some good stuff, made Ichigo a Ichigo cocky. He drew his bow and fired the Spirit Bow and Arrows at Tsuna in quick succession.

Tsuna casually wielded the Forest Blade, and countless leaves transformed into a long whip that easily shredded Ichigo's arrows. If this continued, Tsuna would be close to Ichigo's body again.

Ichigo gritted his teeth and retreated. This wouldn't do. He drew his bow and charged up, and a large burst of red light shot out from the Spirit Bow.

As Uryū's best friend, how could Ichigo not know the Hirenkyaku technique?

Countless red raindrops rained down on Tsuna, Tsuna simply smiled calmly. The green forest flames burned fiercely, leaves and thorns swirled before him, and all the arrows were cut down the moment they got close.

The forest flames formed a green fireball, enveloping Tsuna as it continued its Ichigo towards Ichigo.

Regardless, Ichigo's Hirenkyaku slowed Tsuna's pace, and he couldn't maintain his previous speed to unleash a denser barrage of Tsuna strikes.

That's enough. Ichigo wanted was this little bit of time. He began to gather Reishi in the hand holding the Spirit Bow, and the black swastika bow turned crimson after being covered by the Reishi.

Quincy Ichigo is not just about shooting arrows; his exaggerated swastika bow is also one of his attack methods. He swung the swastika bow at Tsuna, and a swastika-shaped shuriken the size of a millstone shot towards Tsuna.

(Referring to the scene in the anime where Ichigo, after learning his Substitute Shinigami Badge Fullbring, used a shuriken to hit a pig plushie.)

As soon as Tsuna broke free from the dense raindrops, he saw a large, crimson disc flying towards him. He quickly raised his sword to block it, and the sword and the dart collided with a piercing sound.

Tsuna looked slightly puzzled. Ichigo's Ichigo was quite something; the Forest Blade alone couldn't cut it in half. So he simply changed the direction of his power and flicked the shuriken away.

"Haha, Tsuna, you can't do anything about this move now!" Ichigo was very pleased with himself and took the opportunity to throw a second shuriken.

Having learned from his previous experience, Tsuna didn't linger on the dart, sending it flying the instant it collided with him.

But Ichigo had no intention of stopping his attack. Three, four... Ichigo fired six shuriken at Tsuna in a row, and Tsuna maintained his previous stance, deflecting all the shuriken.

As Tsuna was about to reach him, Ichigo calmly drew his Spirit Bow once more.

Tsuna frowned slightly. He didn't White Ichigo meant by drawing his bow at close range. Although this distance required some reaction speed, it didn't mean that Tsuna couldn't completely block Ichigo's arrow.

Tsuna then noticed something unusual: unlike the arrows he had shot before, the tails of these arrows were still in Ichigo's hand— the Chains of "Tensa Zangetsu".

As Ichigo laughed, he forcefully pulled the Chains towards himself.

Immediately afterward, a sense of crisis soaked Tsuna's back. Tsuna turned around and saw that the six large shurikens he had previously thrown away had been pulled back by Ichigo. Their target was only one person: Sawada Tsunayoshi.

"So that's how it is," Tsuna realized in an instant. Ichigo's six arrows hadn't missed; each one had landed on a shuriken. As Ichigo pulled, Tsuna fell into Ichigo's trap.

That's interesting. Quincy Ichigo open up Ichigo's brain? When did he learn to use his intelligence in battle?

However, there was no time for Tsuna to think; he was about to be surrounded by Ichigo's barrage of shurikens.

But Tsuna wasn't without options. The forest flames on his body erupted wildly, and countless thorns, vines, and leaves transformed into fine, sharp whips that danced around him.

His hand, gripping the Forest Blade, swung wildly at a speed invisible to ordinary people, causing the blade to transform into a slender green dragon, forging an incomparably sharp forest cage around him.

Mori Ye dances wildly.

Without any set rules, they wielded the forest blades at will, with everything designed to be airtight, creating this forest prison capable of strangling everything.

Thump thump thump thump thump!

Six massive explosions rang out, but Ichigo remained vigilant. Knowing Tsuna as he did, he knew that being extra cautious was never too much. He quickly created distance, gathered his strength again, and unleashed another Hirenkyaku to probe the way.

Under the baptism of the Hirenkyaku, the smoke gradually dissipated, Ichigo could no longer see Tsuna's figure. What blocked his view was a hemispherical cage made of green.

The power of the Hirenkyaku struck the cage, posing no threat whatsoever, like raindrops being poured down.

Ichigo was somewhat discouraged. He wasn't very proficient with the Quincy's power, and his current attacks, including those shuriken, were already his strongest attack, yet they still had no effect on Tsuna.

Damn it, didn't Old Man Zangetsu say his Saint Letters was something that All-Things Exterminator? How come it looks so weak? It can't even beat Tsuna!

Ichigo didn't know was that his current Quincy form was already extremely powerful. His normal Getsuga Tensho, as well as his Getsuga Tensho, were things that ordinary captains would avoid at all costs.

The reason why Ichigo couldn't beat Tsuna was simply because Tsuna was using the Vollständig, and even one-seventh of the Vollständig is still Vollständig. In addition, Tsuna's Quincy power was also quite strong, which prevented Ichigo from gaining an advantage.

You see, Uryū, even with only a half-baked Vollständig, has already reached the Captain-level. Tsuna's is only one-seventh, but it's a more complete Vollständig.

"Hmph! Once I figure out what All-Things Exterminator means, you'll be sorry!" Ichigo retorted defiantly.

"Then you'd better hurry up and win over your Old Man Zangetsu. He's always so secretive and keeps you in the dark, never revealing anything to you."

Tsuna tried to pass the Ichigo to Old Man Zangetsu, thinking that Old Man Zangetsu wouldn't mind giving Ichigo one-on-one guidance.

"That's right, tonight I'll go ask Old Man Zangetsu, he needs to teach me everything about All-Things Exterminator and Vollständig!"

Ichigo just rallied himself, Ichigo turned his gaze to Tsuna and urged, "Enough about me! What are the other five powers? Show them to us now!"

(PS: I've been planning to adapt The Power of the Forest Flame since the beginning of this book, and the foreshadowing of Ishida Ryuuken giving the protagonist the Soul Cutter has finally come to fruition.)

I wonder how many people still remember The Starship Troopers. Paroni's Windsword was so cool! Although using Qi as the pulse and the Windsword as the bone was a rather haphazard move, it was simply awesome!
