The Gravity of the Earth
With Ikkaku and Yumichika defeated in just a few rounds, Inaba's face turned ashen. He could no longer hesitate; he had to seize Nozomi Kujō.
"Dance wildly, Lai Kong!"
Inaba's Zanpakuto transformed into a long, double-edged sword with a yellow shaft and blades that flipped back and forth. This Zanpakuto was Inaba's only means of daring to personally come to the World of the Living to capture people.
Inaba launched an attack on Tsuna, but Tsuna, with the Forest Blade sliding into his palm, was equally fearless and slashed at Inaba with the sword.
However, Inaba had no intention of exchanging blows with Tsuna. The moment Tsuna made his move, he spun his Zanpakuto clockwise, creating a black space about three meters in size in front of Tsuna.
Tsuna's sword strike missed, while Inaba simply swept past Tsuna and charged towards Nozomi Kujō Tsuna. His purpose remained pure: to kill Nozomi Kujō.
However, how could Inaba, a researcher who had spent years in the Squad 12, possibly match Tsuna's speed? Tsuna simply used Flash Step to appear next to Nozomi Kujō faster than Inaba.
Grabbing Nozomi Kujō's wrist, and amidst her somewhat surprised expression, Tsuna flung her into the air. Tatsuki appeared just in time, catching the freely flying Nozomi Kujō.
Seeing Sawada Tsunayoshi blocking his way once again, Inaba gritted his teeth and spun his Zanpakuto counterclockwise, while Tsuna unleashed even more Forest Flame and slashed at Inaba.
Clang, rustle, a series of metallic sounds followed by the dense rustling of leaves. Tsuna saw another version of himself appear before him, wielding the same Forest Blade and clashing with Tsuna.
Tsuna recognized that the way the person in front of him swung his sword was exactly the same as the way he had swung his sword at Inaba earlier. Combined with the fact that the person had emerged from the black space, Tsuna was certain that this was himself from before.
At this moment, Tsuna also remembered what Inaba's Zanpakuto ability was: rotating it clockwise could create and record space, and rotating it counterclockwise could read the recorded space.
Therefore, Inaba can briefly copy the opponent's attack ability, which is why there are situations where two Tsuna clash.
Inaba's move was indeed a trap for Tsuna; the sharp, wide-area cutting ability of the forest flames forced Tsuna to use the power of the Blut Vene.
"Knocking on the door so early in the morning and tearing my clothes to shreds, well done!" Tsuna casually ripped off his tattered shirt, his eyes full of displeasure.
"Heh, you can try." The exchange just now gave Inaba a great deal of confidence. With his Zanpakuto in hand, he was at least not going to suffer a defeat.
Inaba didn't notice was that while he was mocking, the six-pointed star in Tsuna's eyes had turned into a solid six-pointed star pattern.
Suddenly, a tremendous force struck Inaba's body, Zanpakuto.
Move! Move faster!
Inaba Tsuna walked towards him step by step, immediately at a disadvantage as he was unable to wield his Zanpakuto.
This is gravity. Seeing the ground beneath his feet sink, Inaba immediately realized that this change was caused by the influence of gravity. Damn it, because of the added force of gravity, he was about to lose Zanpakuto.
Tsuna walked coldly toward Inaba, the Forest Blade in his hand having somehow transformed into a metallic silver gauntlet. He was using the power of the Ground Flame, Ground Flame characteristic was gravity.
In just one round, Tsuna had already figured out a way to counter Inaba.
Tsuna's right hand ignited with crimson Ground Flame, and gravity continuously gathered on his fist. Inaba was the mastermind behind the Invading Army Arc, Tsuna had no intention of letting him go, preparing to finish him off with a gravity punch.
Inaba knew what Tsuna wanted to do; his unbridled killing intent showed that Tsuna had no intention of hiding his thoughts.
Damn it, as Tsuna's flaming fist grew larger and larger, Inaba, amidst his terror, revealed a strange smile. As a researcher, he was used to making multiple preparations; otherwise, how could he personally go to the battlefield?
Just as Tsuna's fist was about to strike his face, a red pill identical to those of Ikkaku and Yumichika was swallowed from under his tongue.
Boom!
Tsuna contained a great deal of gravitational power, and when it hit Inaba's face, it crushed his head into powder.
A headless Inaba knelt before Tsuna. To Tsuna's surprise, behind this seemingly Inaba, there was another Inaba, who was smiling happily. Now free from the gravitational pull, he could use the power of his Zanpakuto again.
Spin, unlock. Long before coming to the World of the Living, Inaba had already found the imposter he made, sealing away some of their techniques, which he now used to escape.
Two wind blades shot out from the black space; they were none other than Shunsui Kyōraku's Fūryū Kōkotsu!
Inaba glanced longingly at Nozomi Kujō; he was about to run away, Nozomi Kujō would have to catch him another time.
It was precisely because of Nozomi Kujō's existence that Inaba dared not use techniques that sealed even greater power. If Nozomi Kujō die from those techniques, he feared he would be driven mad with anger.
Seeing the two powerful gusts of wind, Tsuna ignited flames in his hands, creating a gravity wall in front of him to block them.
He could have Fūryū Kōkotsu escaped Inaba's pursuit, but if he did, he wouldn't be able to avoid his own house. To protect his home, Tsuna had no choice but to let Inaba hold him back for a while.
With that one block, Inaba vanished without a trace.
Tsuna had no intention of chasing Inaba; he was just a clown. As long as Nozomi Kujō was still on their side, Inaba would show up sooner or later, and they could just crush him the next time they met.
Tsuna glanced at the dented ground in front of him. Fortunately, it hadn't been damaged much; this was the only damage to his house. He casually used gravity to level the ground before deactivating his Quincy powers.
"They got away, what a pity." Tatsuki said as he carried Nozomi Kujō to Tsuna's side.
"That guy came prepared, using a modified soul as a substitute to take the brunt of my attack," Tsuna explained.
"Transforming the soul?"
"This is it." Tsuna flicked his finger, and two red pills that had fallen to the ground flew into his hand. "This is the modified soul that guy created using the Reishi of Ikkaku and Yumichika."
"It truly transforms the soul, it's very realistic, and the strength is also impressive, it's just that it can't keep up with the version updates," Tatsuki commented.
"This is the technology sealed away by the Central 46. Those noble lords are terrified that someone could replace them at any time, and now that guy named Inaba has succeeded, hasn't he?"
Tsuna's last question was Nozomi Kujō Tsuna, Nozomi Kujō looked at him with surprise, "How did you know?"
"It's nothing. Go back and have breakfast. I'll contact Uncle Ryūken. I won't be going to see him for the next few days; I'll stay home to protect you." Tsuna yawned as he walked home.
"Don't worry, if Tsuna says so, it can't be anything serious." Tatsuki patted Nozomi Kujō on the shoulder and followed up with Tsuna, asking, "You still haven't told me how that bastard got away."
"He hid a Modified Soul in his mouth. I don't know which Modified Soul Bleach he copied, but he acted quite decisively."
"That's ruthless. You'd even use your own comrades?" A fierce glint appeared in Tatsuki's eyes. She hated people who didn't respect their comrades.
"Companions? To him, they're all just tools, including Nozomi Kujō," Tsuna said nonchalantly.
"Wang Shi?"
When Tatsuki turned around, she saw Nozomi Kujō still standing there, looking lost and helpless. Only now did she understand why Nozomi Kujō had such a timid and unapproachable demeanor.
"Nozomi, from now on we're your companions, come in quickly!" Tatsuki ran back and grabbed Nozomi Kujō, pulling her into the house.
Under Tatsuki's influence, Nozomi Kujō's lifeless eyes seemed to regain a spark of life; did someone actually care about her?
Companions... this world doesn't seem so worthless after all...
After a hearty meal, Tatsuki had to go back to school, while Tsuna, the idle one, stayed home as planned to protect Nozomi Kujō. Just as Tatsuki was about to leave, there was another knock on Tsuna's door.
Tsuna and Tatsuki exchanged a glance. What was going on? Ever since Tsuna's parents went on a business trip, no other unrelated people had come here. Even when Ichigo came to visit, they would let them know in advance, so there was no need to knock on the door.
They've all rushed here at once.
Tsuna gave Tatsuki a look, indicating that he would go out and open the door as usual. If things didn't look good, Tatsuki would take Nozomi Kujō and leave first.
When Tsuna opened the door, Tsuna dumbfounded. Without saying a word, he immediately closed the door, and then opened it again after a second when the timer refreshed.
Good grief, Tsuna wasn't mistaken after all. Those two guys standing at the door are Ikkaku Madarame and Yumichika Ayasegawa again... wait, Inaba will Inaba ever stop...?
"Yo..."
Ikkaku as Ikkaku was about to greet Tsuna, Tsuna immediately punched Ikkaku in the stomach, followed by a kick that sent Yumichika flying as well.
Suppressing the pain, he retreated Ikkaku and shouted, "Tsuna, what's wrong with you? You don't have to hit me the moment we meet!"
Tsuna stopped drawing his sword. The way Ikkaku was addressed seemed familiar. Ikkaku was a very easygoing person, and once you got to know him, you would just call him by his name, unlike other Bleach who would use honorifics like "sir".
"The version was updated so quickly?" Tsuna muttered to himself as he walked out of the house. He had just made a sarcastic remark about Inaba, but before he knew it, Inaba just one breakfast.
"Tsuna, we really are Ikkaku Madarame and Yumichika Ayasegawa." Upon hearing Tsuna's words, the clever Yumichika immediately realized that he had been kicked for nothing, and explained helplessly while covering his forehead.
"The real deal? Why are it just the two of you knocking on the door?" Tsuna realized then, had he really called the wrong people?
"Not only are we here, but all the captains have arrived as well," Yumichika said.
At that moment, a series of Flash Step) sounds rang out, and soon, Tsuna's courtyard was filled with Bleach), all dressed in white robes and haori. Had the entire Gotei 13 arrived?
Tsuna then understood why Ikkaku and Yumichika come to knock on the door; among such a group of people, weren't they the two of them the lowest in status?
