Anomaly in the Seireitei
Led by the Decimo and Byakuran, the materialized Zanpakuto proceeded unimpeded to the vicinity of the West White Path Gate, where Byakuya Kuchiki had been waiting for some time.
The Decimo, who was leading the way, slowed down. They hadn't encountered Bleach along the way, which was why they had arrived so quickly. The Decimo couldn't be sure if the Byakuya Kuchiki in front of him was real or not.
Seeing the Decimo hesitate, Byakuya immediately understood his meaning. He placed his hand on the hilt of his sword and said softly, "Come out, Senbonzakura."
Several cherry blossoms fell from Senbonzakura, gathering to form the shape of a man wearing red Japanese Armor. This was the materialization of Senbonzakura, Byakuya was using this method to tell Tsuna was the real Byakuya Kuchiki.
After all, the Zanpakuto don't treat fake clones so kindly; they won't obey the clones' orders.
Not only that, Byakuya had also prepared another set of arguments to prove his point. "The Japanese mafia isn't as glamorous as you describe. It's a pity we don't have enough time to go to Italy and see for ourselves."
This is a conversation between Byakuya Kuchiki and the Decimo when they were friends. The Decimo would always share his stories of mutual help within the Vongola. These stories all happened recently, and the clones couldn't possibly know them.
"Is it really you, Byakuya?" The Decimo's smile was a little embarrassed. "Sorry, I burned your house down earlier."
"I heard Tsuna mention it. It's alright, it's just one or two guest rooms, we can rebuild them." Byakuya smiled as well. The wealthy Kuchiki Clan wouldn't care about one or two rooms.
"The Kuchiki Clan is so generous," Byakuran remarked, leaning closer.
"If Mr. Byakuran is willing, he will also be a guest of honor of the Kuchiki Clan."
"Forget it, I can't stand your aristocratic rules. I prefer an izakaya," Byakuran said nonchalantly, waving his hand.
"Don't waste time, let's hurry and go support Little Tsuna and the others," the Decimo said.
Thanks to Byakuya Kuchiki's influence, the Zanpakuto passed through the White Path Gate and entered the Seireitei without any problems.
"Are you all able to sense the location of your master's spiritual pressure?" the Decimo asked.
The Zanpakuto nodded in response; sensing the location of their masters at close range was not difficult.
"Then let's get moving. Reach your master as quickly as possible and help them defeat their opponent." The Decimo turned to Byakuran and said, "Byakuran, could you please see them off?"
"Eh? That sounds like a lot of trouble." Byakuran pouted, a little annoyed. Actually, he wasn't even interested in the battles in Seireitei. Right now, all he wanted to do was enjoy a leisurely life.
"After this, I'll talk to Little Tsuna and ask him to let you out to play more often," the Decimo said.
He didn't have many ways to restrain Byakuran, and the two sides were extremely similar in strength. The only thing he could think of was Byakuran's yearning for so-called freedom.
"Alright, it's a deal!" Byakuran readily agreed.
Byakuran was well aware that no matter how powerful he and the Decimo were, Sawada Tsunayoshi was the master of that power, Tsuna controlled everything about them with a single thought.
Of the three manifestations of Tsuna's powers, the one with whom he has the best relationship is undoubtedly the Decimo Tsuna. If the Decimo is willing to speak up, the probability of Byakuran letting loose next time will greatly increase.
"Hurry, hurry, get moving! Your Lady Byakuran has other matters to attend to."
Byakuran gestured for the group of Zanpakuto to move, and the Zanpakuto could only helplessly smirk. After spending two days with Byakuran, they knew his personality all too well. What else could Byakuran possibly want? Wasn't Byakuran just eager to go play?
Well then, let's just consider it as helping our useless master as soon as possible. The Zanpakuto to the Decimo. After spending the past two days together, they were quite impressed with the Decimo's leadership style.
Even the Heavenly Punishment suggested imitating the association in Seireitei, where the Zanpakuto could form their own Zanpakuto Aid Association and recognize the Decimo as their leader, but the Decimo did not agree.
After the group of Zanpakuto left, Byakuya Kuchiki finally spoke, asking, "What are your plans?"
Although they didn't spend much time together, the Decimo and Byakuya surprisingly got along well, and Byakuya could tell at a glance that the Decimo had other plans for sending the others away.
The Decimo opened his palm, inside which lay a Reishi Hardening by a high concentration of Rain Flame.
"These are Reishi extracted from your Modified Soul. I want to make a trip to the Squad 12. My intuition tells me that the technology for Modified Soul is related to you," the Decimo said. He was only close to Byakuya; otherwise, he wouldn't bother with other people's business.
"Intuition?" Byakuya frowned, considering the reliability of the Decimo's words.
"In our Vongola terminology, this is called Hyper Intuition." The Decimo didn't explain further; the matter only concerned Byakuya, and whether Byakuya believed it or not had no impact on the Decimo personally.
"Hyper Intuition?" Despite still having some doubts, Byakuya chose to trust the Decimo because of the friendship they had built. "Then let's go to the Squad 12. It seems that Kurotsuchi Mayuri and Hitsugaya have already gone there."
"It's alright, we're just going to preserve the relevant technology so that they don't destroy it along with the Modified Soul technology when they cut off their escape route," the Decimo said.
"I don't think the technology of Modified Soul would be too difficult for Kurotsuchi Mayuri," Byakuya said. He didn't like Kurotsuchi Mayuri's style of doing things, but he had to admit Kurotsuchi Mayuri's ability in research.
"There aren't many events left. I feel that events related to you will come soon. There's no time for Kurotsuchi Mayuri to conduct experiments and make mistakes. Using existing data directly is the most convenient approach."
The Decimo and Byakuya Kuchiki rushed towards the Squad 12, while the other Bleach who had returned to Seireitei were also reclaiming their barracks according to plan.
What these people didn't expect was that they didn't encounter the enemies they had anticipated among the various squads. Instead, all the squad members were gathered in the squad barracks, creating a well-organized scene.
"This is weird, Tsuna. Apart from some low-quality imposters, we haven't encountered any Captain-level clones at all," Muguruma Kensei shouted into the communication channel.
"Our 3rd Division is the same," Rose agreed. "Team duties are proceeding as usual; it doesn't seem like we've been sidelined."
"So, the only person you've encountered who can be considered Captain-level fighter is Renji?" Tsuna asked, Renji reporting the situation immediately after defeating his clone.
"Yes, and the other party wasn't in the 6th Division; instead, it seemed like they were heading somewhere," Renji replied. He had bumped into the imposter on the road.
"Renji- san, could you tell me specifically which direction the person you encountered was heading?" Urahara Kisuke's voice came through. As the mastermind behind this operation, he was in a newly built laboratory near Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto.
Renji quickly reported the clone's route to Urahara Kisuke, Urahara Kisuke and analyzed, "Strange, there's nothing noteworthy in that direction..."
"Unless... it's a barrier!" Recalling the encounter Renji had faced shortly after Renji Seireitei, Urahara Kisuke immediately understood. "Their target is Seireitei's barrier... could it be..."
"Everyone, please proceed to the nearest barrier location. Tsuna, take a group of Kidō Corps and head there. I suspect Inaba's aim is to destroy the Seireitei's barrier," Urahara Kisuke immediately ordered.
Within the Seireitei, only the Kidō Corps are capable of having any connection to the barrier.
The only explanation for the absence of the captains in the Seireitei is that they have all been dispatched by Inaba. The fact that Tsuna was sent to the area where the Kidō Corps are located suggests that it is suspected to be the area where the clones are most concentrated.
"What do you mean? What benefit would breaking the barrier bring to Inaba?" Tsuna glanced at the girl following behind him. Logically speaking, Inaba's target should be Nozomi Kujō.
Urahara sighed. "Do you think Inaba Kagerōza, with your strength, still has a chance to steal Nozomi Kujō? I suspect he's just throwing caution to the wind and wants to self-destruct with the entire Soul Society."
At this point, Urahara glanced at Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, who was standing at the highest point of Seireitei not far away. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto also realized Inaba's intention from Urahara's words.
"Don't worry, the power of the Zanka no Tachi isn't so easy to use. It's just a copy of a single Reishi, Great Fire Sword is already its limit," Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto said.
From Urahara's words, we can infer that he suspects Inaba intends to use Ryūjin Jakka's Bankai power to destroy the entire Soul Society.
Nozomi Kujō can't achieve this goal, then she might as well destroy the world along with it.
Others may not know, but Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto himself is very familiar with the power of the Zanka no Tachi. When he uses the Zanka no Tachi, he also has to squeeze every Reishi in his body to the limit.
Now, this Modified Soul, made from mere scattered Reishi particles, wants to use the Zanka no Tachi to destroy the Soul Society? It's a gross underestimation of Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto's efforts over the past millennium.
Even whether this so-called replica can fully unleash the power of the Great Fire Sword is still a question. The Zanka no Tachi? Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto found it laughable.
"It's good that the Captain-Commander is confident." Urahara offered a curt compliment, then continued, "Tsuna, you should still make the trip. If you encounter a copy of the Captain-Commander, kill it with all your might."
Urahara decided to nip this bad trend in the bud, and Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto, sensing the distrust in Urahara's words, added his instructions.
"Chōjirō, quickly retake the First Division, find my copy and kill it!"
"Yes... Captain-Commander!"
Sasakibe's firm words were tinged with heave, and the faint sound of thunder could be heard. His condition was very bad. The other Bleach had not encountered any opponents in their respective squads, but he had encountered his own copy in the First Division.
Not only were there copies of the Sasakibe, but also Genryūmaru, who disliked the Sasakibe. Without even a greeting, Genryūmaru activated the Ōetsu Nimaiya and attacked him.
The Sasakibe has to swallow the bitter fruit of its own making. Ōetsu Nimaiya is also doubly burdened, and he can only survive by swaying in the Thunder Forest.
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto fell silent. After all these years, how could he not know the Sasakibe? If nothing unexpected had happened, the Sasakibe must have already met with misfortune, and his subordinate was probably gritting his teeth and holding on right now.
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto was moved by compassion. Since the other barracks were not in danger, he decided to head towards the First Division.
Sasakibe, after following him for so many years, how come he's so bad at Blade Zen training? He can't even compare to Renji Abarai. At least Renji's Zanpakuto doesn't completely betray him to the enemy.
It's time to give Genryūmaru and Chōjirō Sasakibe a good talking-to. Don't expect Chōjirō to Beyond Bankai; he should just stick to being the Vice-Captain.
