White Giant Serpents
"Oh dear, you'll have to work hard again, Grimmjow." Urahara Kisuke grinned as he pulled out a sled and swung out two This Rope.
Grimmjow picked up the This Rope with a speechless expression, skillfully wrapped it around his waist, and said stubbornly, "Let me make this clear from the start: once you see Las Noches, you'll have to walk there yourselves!"
To maintain his image among the other Arrancar, this was Grimmjow's final compromise; he absolutely refused to drag these people all the way to the gates of Las Noches.
In that case, it would be better to kill him!
As he tied the This Rope, Grimmjow's hand could reach his Zanpakuto at any moment. If Urahara and the others had any objections, he would prepare to Resurrección without saying a word and fight alongside the bastards.
"Okay, okay, if we can find Las Noches, we can go there ourselves," Urahara Kisuke. Grimmjow was just a guide; he didn't need to make Grimmjow do anything more unacceptable.
"Everyone, please get on the sled. There are exactly six seats. Mr. Ashido, you can sit in Ichigo's seat..."
At this point, Urahara Kisuke suddenly stopped. If he remembered correctly, Ichigo had sat with Uryū when they arrived. Firstly, the two were more familiar with each other, and secondly, Kurotsuchi Mayuri didn't get along with several of them.
So when they arrived, Urahara Kisuke specially arranged for a Bleach from Soul Society to sit next to Kurotsuchi Mayuri. Although the two weren't exactly familiar with each other, an awkward silence was better than mutual dislike.
Now, following Urahara's suggestion, Ashido and Ichigo should sit together. However, since he and Uryū don't get along with Kurotsuchi Mayuri, Tsuna is the only one who Kurotsuchi Mayuri.
Tsuna wouldn't refuse, but why did Urahara Kisuke feel something was off? Strictly speaking, Tsuna is a human from the World of the Living, not a Bleach from Soul Society, so who was sitting with Kurotsuchi Mayuri?
"What's wrong?" Tsuna asked.
"That's a bit strange, Captain Kurotsuchi. Who were you sitting with when you came to the Forest of the Hollows?" Urahara Kisuke asked seriously.
"What nonsense are you talking about? Didn't I sit alone when I came here?"
Kurotsuchi Mayuri Urahara Kisuke, knowing full well that Urahara and Uryū would never sit with him.
He Urahara Kisuke, while Uryū disliked him because of Sōken's matter. In short, the fact that they can act together now means that they have put aside most of their personal grudges. As for personal feelings, they absolutely cannot let go of them.
Hearing Urahara and Kurotsuchi Mayuri's conversation, Tsuna understood what Urahara was thinking. "No, my intuition tells me that the place was full when we arrived, and there couldn't possibly be an empty seat next to Captain Kurotsuchi."
Upon Tsuna Tsuna's words, Urahara, Ichigo, and Uryū immediately took it seriously. They knew Tsuna's unpredictable intuition, which meant that there were indeed six people sitting there before.
"Is there a seat that Nel might be sitting in?" Uryū suggested.
Upon hearing her name, Nel tilted her head, pointed at herself with a cute expression, and said, "No, Nel was being held by Ichigo."
Upon hearing Nel's words, Tsuna and Urahara immediately exchanged a glance, realizing the gravity of the situation.
"It's confirmed. One of us is missing, and we don't remember him," Urahara Kisuke said.
Tsuna's expression was also a bit grim. He and Urahara were the ones who covered for them when they came to Hueco Mundo, and now someone had disappeared without a trace, and they didn't even remember who it was.
This is a big problem; someone's been humiliated, and they don't even know who to hold responsible.
"Manager, please search for any familiar spiritual pressure in the vicinity. I think he shouldn't have gone far."
At Tsuna's suggestion, Urahara quickly pulled out the device he had previously used to measure Reishi pressure to search for the surrounding spiritual pressure. "I can shrink the target to the Bleach and eliminate all nearby Hollows..."
"Let's all think it over and see if there's anything strange in our memories," Tsuna said to the others.
While they were saying they wanted to, the main concern was for the trio in the World of the Living. Kurotsuchi Mayuri didn't care about having one more or one less person, Nel couldn't be relied on, and Ashido had just come out of the Forest of the Hollows.
"It's a bit... strange..." Of the three, only Ichigo spoke with a frown, immediately attracting the attention of the others. "I feel like there's someone whose face I can't quite remember, something's off."
"It seems to be a girl? She seems to have a pretty significant impact on my life?"
"Orihime? Tatsuki? Or Aunt Masa?" Tsuna immediately rattled off several names. There weren't many important women in Ichigo's life, so it was easy to draw a conclusion using the process of elimination.
"Are you kidding me, Tsuna? Mom, Tatsuki, and Orihime are all in the World of the Living, okay? That woman is wearing the same Shinigami Uniform as me!" Ichigo said with certainty, but he just couldn't see the face from his memories.
"Rukia Kuchiki."
"What?" Ichigo was stunned when he heard the name Tsuna had just uttered, but then the woman's face seemed to gradually become clearer.
Tsuna slapped his forehead in frustration; he hadn't even remembered the name Rukia Kuchiki at first.
It wasn't until Ichigo ruled out all the answers that Tsuna recalled his memories of his past life and remembered the onion-headed girl.
How could Rukia not be important to Ichigo's life? She was the guide on the path of a Bleach.
Strangely enough, Tsuna's entire memory of Rukia was erased, just like with Akina. He only remembered the name because of some kind of cheat code.
With the appearance of the name Rukia, Ichigo finally saw the face from his memories clearly. He excitedly grabbed Tsuna's shoulder and asked, "Rukia! Tsuna, you remember Rukia too, right!"
"No, Ichigo, I've forgotten Rukia too, but for some special reason, I know she exists."
Tsuna pushed Ichigo's hands off his shoulders and pointed at his forehead, continuing to speak.
"The reason you can remember Rukia's existence is because Rukia unlocked your Bleach powers, and Rukia's Reishi still reside within you."
"So, Ichigo! Finding Rukia depends on you. Activate your spiritual network and search your memories for the spiritual pressure that belongs to Rukia!"
Ichigo knew this wasn't the time to joke around, so he quickly closed his eyes and carefully sensed the spiritual pressure around him.
Seeing Urahara Tsuna and Ichigo had come up with a plan, Urahara stopped what he was doing and asked Tsuna, "Do you know what kind of incident this is?"
"Probably." Tsuna's mind raced through the fragments he remembered from Calling Your Name. "Manager, do you remember when you were a captain, you once researched a snake-like Hollow? That thing could erase people's memories."
"So that's what was going on?" Reminded by Tsuna, Urahara immediately remembered the experiments he'd done in the past. "If I remember correctly, it was a parasitic Hollow, right?"
"Well, to put it simply, that Hollow parasitized Rukia's past friends and brought them to Hueco Mundo. Rukia's friends later absorbed the Hollow's power. They came for Rukia, which is why they didn't attack us."
"The reason we can't Rukia is probably because they used the power of that Hollow to erase Rukia's memory from our minds."
"I see, that explains it." Urahara Kisuke scratched his head apologetically. "It seems I'm not entirely unrelated to this."
Urahara Kisuke had studied that parasitic Hollow in the past, and since that Hollow had managed to escape from the Technology Development Bureau, he, as the former director, certainly bore some responsibility.
Just as Urahara Kisuke had figured out the situation, Ichigo opened his eyes with confidence, "Found it!"
Ichigo's eyes turned to another deserted sand dune. He could feel Rukia's spiritual pressure moving rapidly. After shouting Bankai, Ichigo activated Tensa Zangetsu and flew towards that spot at high speed.
"They didn't choose to return to the Forest of the Hollows? It seems there's no need to worry about Rukia's safety," Tsuna said.
Rukia disappeared as soon as they left the Forest of the Hollows, indicating that the ambushers must have come from the Forest of the Hollows. After taking Rukia away, they didn't choose to go back, perhaps because they were afraid that the countless Hollows would harm Rukia.
"Since it's my fault, I should at least lend a hand." Urahara Kisuke glanced at Gero and Kurotsuchi Mayuri. "Why don't you all wait here for a moment? We'll be back soon."
"Let's go together, that way we can look out for each other," Tsuna suggested.
In the end, everyone followed Ichigo's direction. The distance wasn't far, and wasting a little time wasn't unacceptable.
As they climbed the sand dunes, Tsuna and the others saw Ichigo wielding Tensa Zangetsu and fighting with his younger brother Shizuku's scythe. Behind Shizuku, Rukia's Homura was carrying her with a look of terror on her face. She hadn't expected their actions to be discovered so quickly.
Damn it, they should have taken Rukia away without anyone noticing, so how did these people find them so quickly?
Homura didn't understand, but she knew that if she didn't do something, Rukia would be taken away, and the promise to be with Rukia forever would be impossible.
A look of madness grew stronger on Homura's face. With a wave of her hand, four Gillians appeared around her, shouting loudly at Shizuku.
"Shizuku, let's do it together!"
Shizuku's scythe temporarily forced Ichigo. He retreated to Homura's side and raised his red scythe high. The four Gillians transformed into spiritual pressure and were transferred into the scythe. Shizuku's aura reached its peak.
As Shizuku swung her scythe upwards, a jet of whitish liquid shot out from it, transforming into giant white pythons that opened their blood-red maws and attacked Ichigo.
"Oh? Transforming the spiritual pressure of a Hollow into a white snake, shopkeeper? Does the Hollow you're researching have this kind of power?" Tsuna asked Urahara.
"Perhaps these are abilities that these two developed for survival after arriving in Hueco Mundo," Urahara speculated. "After all, with their Zanjutsu, surviving in the Forest of the Hollows wouldn't be easy."
Urahara's eyes were incredibly sharp; he immediately saw that Shizuku's fighting style with the scythe was completely unorthodox. If Rukia Ichigo her hands, he would have finished them off with a single strike.
Urahara didn't know was that besides Rukia being in the enemy's hands, there was another reason: when he clashed with Shizuku, the blood-red scythe was able to pierce through Tensa Zangetsu!
Based on Tsuna's speculation that they could erase memories, Ichigo had to step back every time the scythe passed through his Zanpakuto, which made him fight very hesitantly, and that's why he barely managed to fight Shizuku to a draw.
For this reason, when Ichigo was about to use Getsuga Tensho with those terrifying giant pythons, he saw Shizuku appear beside him. In order not to have his memories erased, he had to stop and dodge.
The more Ichigo dodged, the deeper he was encircled by the giant pythons. Just as Ichigo was about to be overwhelmed by the pythons, Tsuna prepared to make his move.
Tsuna still remembers that being hit by that white liquid was not a good thing; even Kenpachi Zaraki was forcibly banned for a movie.
They had no time to waste here; they had to finish this quickly. Orange Dying Will Flame ignited on their foreheads, and red Armguard wreathed in these Dying Will Flame appeared on their arms.
This is Daikū's Bankai.
(PS: Regarding the white giant python part, in the movie it could only be used with Kurotsuchi Mayuri's device, but here it has been changed to be the siblings' ability. Anyway, the Hollow looks a lot like a snake.)
In this way, in the movie, Kurotsuchi Mayuri's device becomes a spiritual pressure amplifier, and the novel's plot changes to absorbing the spiritual pressure of four Gillian and releasing the giant serpent.
