Meeting Again
"Is that so? What a pity." Aizen's tone showed no regret whatsoever, and his eyes, looking towards the cave entrance, were filled with eager anticipation.
Aizen is already eager to start trying out the creation of the King Key. Just getting familiar with his current power and the creation of the King Key is enough for Aizen to feel that there is not enough time. In addition, there is the departure of Gin Ichimaru and the temporary absence of Kaname Tōsen.
Aizen was silently considering whether he should train another suitable assistant among the Arrancar. If he remembered correctly, Szayelaporro's spiritual pressure seemed to have disappeared, and perhaps he could find a new assistant from Szayelaporro's research lab.
"Why don't you try going into the Forest of the Hollows in your physical form? If you're there, I might be interested in shooting another arrow," Tsuna, pointing to the cave entrance.
"You're aiming for me? You probably won't be willing to do that until I set foot in the Soul King Palace, will you?" Aizen stared directly at Tsuna. He knew all too well what Tsuna and Urahara Kisuke trying so hard to help him with.
"Speaking of which, I need to trouble you with something." Tsuna his hands together and asked without the slightest embarrassment, "Remember to tell us before you go to heaven, so I can watch the live broadcast."
"Live broadcast? It seems this plan was planned all along. Was letting me leave on Sōkyoku also part of your plan?"
Aizen now understands why Tsuna was so agreeable during the Sōkyoku; Sawada Tsunayoshi never actually intended to spare his life.
"There's no other way. You're the only warrior who's ever appeared in the Soul Society. Please help me out."
"Warrior, perhaps I won't be the only one after me?" Aizen chuckled, looking up at the night sky of Hueco Mundo. "No need for notification. You'll definitely notice when those barriers are broken."
This is why Aizen insisted on fusing with the Hogyoku to increase his strength, breaking down the barrier between the Soul King Palace and the Seireitei. Not only would the Seireitei be aware of this, but the Soul King Palace would also be alerted.
This is why, on his way to Aizen Soul King Palace, Kyoka Suigetsu were no longer meaningful. Having the strength to directly defeat the Zero Squad was what Aizen relied on.
"Whoosh!" Tsuna his fist on his palm, feigning sudden realization. "Thanks for reminding me."
Upon hearing this, Aizen's expression changed. He realized a possibility. "You... you wouldn't have already prepared a method to monitor the Soul King Palace, would you?"
Only this reason can explain why Tsuna needed Aizen to give him advance notice.
"No, no, we don't have that kind of strength." Tsuna waved his hand and said very modestly. He didn't say anything. There was no way to monitor the Soul King Palace, but there was still a way to connect to the Soul King Palace that could be considered.
"Zanpakuto; I don't believe you have no plans for the Soul King Palace." Aizen then shifted his focus to Tsuna, "Your last attack on me wasn't your full power, was it?"
Aizen still harbors resentment over his battle with Tsuna; it was the moment he came closest to death, and it was the Hogyoku that responded to him so that Aizen could be reborn.
It was only after fusing with the Hogyoku that Aizen realized how arrogant he had been when he first acquired Hogyoku; now, he could easily defeat ten of his predecessors.
"Of course, it's not going all out. If we conjured everyone together, it wouldn't just be Las Noches destroyed; the stability of the entire Hueco Mundo might be compromised," Tsuna said. "The Bankai would be far more severe than Old Man Yamamoto's Bankai."
Upon hearing this, Aizen the concept. He had found records about Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto in the Great Spirit Library Corridor. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto's Bankai could potentially evaporate the Soul Society. The Soul Society itself would still exist, but the living beings would be affected.
The fact that the power of Tsuna's Zanpakuto after fusion can affect the stability of the entire world is undoubtedly a higher level of power, no wonder it is called Beyond Bankai.
And so, time slowly passed. Only Urahara Kisuke gruelingly modifying his Zanpakuto, while Tsuna and Aizen Zanpakuto fusion. Gin Ichimaru eavesdropped quietly nearby, Ichigo and the others were playing games with Nel to pass the time.
Hueco Mundo does not have a day-night cycle. According to Urahara Kisuke, it took a full day and night for him to transform all the Reishi into a stable state, so that they could be officially handed over to Aizen.
Aizen didn't waste any more words. Together with Gin Ichimaru, he used a series of complex Kido to seal the cave entrance. He would wait until Kaname Tōsen returned before he could proceed with the creation of the King's Key.
Without any farewell, the two parties completed a transaction, Urahara Kisuke opened the Garganta leading to the World of the Living on the other side of the sand dune.
Ichigo and Uryū are going back to the World of the Living, while the others are going to Soul Society. However, opening something like the Garganta directly in Soul Society would have too much of an impact, so Tsuna and the others plan to use the World of the Living as a stepping stone and then go through the Senkaimon to Soul Society.
After a hasty parting at the Urahara Shop, Ichigo took Nel to find Orihime Inoue. It's unclear whether Nel will become a mature woman or remain a little girl after her injuries are healed. If she becomes a mature woman, Ichigo's days ahead might not be easy.
Meanwhile, Tsuna was walking through the streets of Seireitei with Ashido and Gin Ichimaru.
The moment Urahara Kisuke returned to Soul Society, he went straight to his lab. The fusion of Aizen and the Hogyoku had given him some inspiration, and he couldn't wait to test it.
Rukia took Kaien Shiba's Reishi to the Squad 12. Before conducting the resurrection experiment, she needed the Squad 12 to help create a Reigai belonging to Kaien Shiba.
Therefore, the task of reporting to Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto naturally fell to Tsuna. Before going to the First Division, Tsuna planned to take a detour and go to the 10th Division first.
"The Seireitei really hasn't changed much." Ashido had already changed out of his Hollow-related Visored; dressed in his Shinigami Uniform, he looked like a normal Bleach.
"What changes could possibly occur under the management of this thousand-year-old Bleach, Old Man Yamamoto?" Tsuna casually remarked. "However, the winds of change have already begun to blow in Soul Society. You'll soon see many new things appearing in the Seireitei."
The style of a region is closely related to its administrators, and it is believed that once the Captain-Commander changes, the outdated aspects of Soul Society will be quickly replaced.
"It's better this way, at least I don't feel out of place," Ashido sighed. All his familiar friends were gone, and only this familiar street scene could give him a sense of belonging.
"Sawada Tsunayoshi, aren't we going to the First Division?" Gin Ichimaru, who hadn't spoken until now, asked.
Tsuna deliberately avoided populated streets and took back roads, so no one noticed Gin Ichimaru, the wanted criminal, for the time being.
However, Gin Ichimaru, who had lived in Seireitei longer, clearly noticed that Tsuna was not leading them on the way to see Captain-Commander Yamamoto; this direction seemed to lead to an area he had never dared to venture into.
Tsuna rolled his eyes and said irritably, "Who knows what Old Man Yamamoto will do with you? Before that, are you sure you don't want to return what belongs to him?"
Gin Ichimaru took out the jar that was sealed with the Soul King's fingertip. He had already figured it out; Tsuna was leading them towards the 10th Division Barracks.
"You can give this to Rangiku." Gin Ichimaru's voice trailed off as he handed the jar to Tsuna.
"What a joke, I'm not getting involved in your lovey-dovey stuff." Tsuna didn't even glance at the jar that Gin Ichimaru handed him.
"Huh? Are we going to see Gintoki's girlfriend?" Ashido asked.
"I don't have a boyfriend..."
"He infiltrated Aizen's ranks for hundreds of years for a part of that girl's soul. What do you think their relationship is?" Tsuna interrupted Gin Ichimaru's explanation, ignoring the blush on Gin Ichimaru's face.
"It seems Gintoki is deeply in love with your crush too," Ashido said, stroking his chin and nodding knowingly.
Gin Ichimaru has given up. He can't argue with those two anymore. Seeing Rangiku won't kill him, right?
Tsuna easily slipped through the bushes behind the 10th Division Barracks and entered the 10th Division. This was a back door that Rangiku had left for herself, so she could easily return to the barracks when she was drunk.
"Hmm, we'll need to use a bit of spiritual pressure here." Tsuna gripped his Trident, releasing a cloud of mist that enveloped the three of them as he walked towards the barracks.
"How boring! Where has that Haineko gone off to have fun again? And the captain, all he does is train all day long, he never comes to the barracks to help relieve the pressure on the others."
In the office of the 10th Division, Rangiku sat alone on her desk, listlessly signing and stamping documents.
During the period of full preparation, the captain and Vice-Captain's authority was greatly delegated to them, freeing them from the interference of miscellaneous tasks. However, as the Vice-Captain, Rangiku still had to set aside some time each day to check team affairs when the captain was not present.
Even though there wasn't much work left, Rangiku couldn't help but complain. Besides being bored by herself, she really didn't like dealing with these team duties.
When there is no preparation for battle, most of the squad's paperwork is done by Toshiro himself, Rangiku's job is to lie on the sofa next to him and occasionally disturb Toshiro's work.
Hearing the door open, Rangiku complained without even looking up, "Wasn't all the work for today supposed to be here? Why is there extra work?"
Rangiku thought the team members had given her new tasks, but actually it was Tsuna who walked in with Ashido and Gin Ichimaru.
"Ashido, please make yourself at home. We are self-sufficient and don't need to expect them to treat us."
Tsuna Isshin the cabinet and brewed tea for Ashido, just like the master of the 10th Division.
"Tsuna?"
Rangiku then looked up and realized that the person who came in was not a member of the 10th Division. When she saw that there were strangers with Tsuna, she quickly sat up straight and tidied her posture. She couldn't embarrass the 10th Division in front of outsiders.
Rangiku froze, brushing her long hair behind her ear. She saw the figure she had been longing for day and night standing at the door.
"Silver?"
Three parts surprise, three parts relief, and four parts bewilderment. At this time, Gin Ichimaru should never have appeared in Seireitei, after all; he's a wanted criminal!
"Rangiku, it's been a long time." Gin Ichimaru looked up and saw Rangiku's familiar smiling face, but the smile on her face was less cold than before and more tinged with guilt.
