Long-Awaited Everyday Life
"Huh? You're... Tsuna?"
Ichigo's questioning voice rang in his ears. Tsuna looked up, squinted, and asked, "What? Don't you even recognize me?"
"Wait, what are you doing at school? And you even have time to attend class?" What surprised Ichigo wasn't seeing Tsuna, but rather that Tsuna was at school. Normally, Tsuna should be in Soul Society right now.
Tsuna rubbed his tired eyes. "I had no choice. Mom said she'd be back in a couple of days, and to avoid her asking me about my school life, I had to come back a couple of days early."
After Urahara Kisuke returned to Soul Society, he re-established communication between the two worlds. Nana's Mom forgot to calculate the time difference, so Tsuna received the call in the evening and hurriedly rushed back to the World of the Living.
"Have Aunt Nana and the others finished their business trip?" The Kurosaki Residence and Sawada families are very close, Ichigo knows what Tsuna's parents are doing when they go out.
"No, Mom said Dad came back this time to order some neon-themed components, and he'll probably be staying in Karakura Town for a while." Nana's Mom didn't explain it clearly on the phone, so Tsuna only knew the general idea.
"So you're going to be a good student for a while, huh?"
Ichigo nudged Tsuna with his elbow. He had long disliked Tsuna, this "free-spirited" guy, but unfortunately, Tsuna always managed to pass the exams by barely making a dent, which meant Ichigo had never had a chance to mock Tsuna.
"Pretty much. Use this time to catch up on your studies." Tsuna yawned and waved Ichigo.
"Coffee." With a clatter, a can of coffee was placed in Tsuna Tatsuki. "Use this to perk yourself up, then you can sleep when you get home."
Tsuna gave an OK sign, opened the coffee, and gulped it down.
"No wonder I didn't see you, Tatsuki. Did you go to buy coffee? Why didn't you get me a bottle?" Ichigo teased.
"That brat Nel wrecked your house last night?" Tatsuki knew that Ichigo had brought back an Arrancar; he had even seen her when Orihime was treating her.
"Kid? Even Orihime can't heal her injuries?" Tsuna was a little puzzled. Unless it was an ability on par with the Soul King, there shouldn't be any injury that Orihime couldn't heal.
"No..." Ichigo hesitated, unsure how to explain, "It's healed, but not completely healed..."
"Nel has remembered her past memories, and for the sake of convenience, she still maintains her childlike appearance, only speaking in an adult tone, which is why Ichigo feels there is a clash in style," Tatsuki summarized.
"Got it, loli body, mature woman's heart." Tsuna summed it up easily in six words.
How did you know she was a mature woman?
Faced with this problem, Tsuna decisively closed his eyes and pretended to sleep, knowing he couldn't dwell on it...
High school life in Japan is relatively relaxed, and school ends in the afternoon.
Ichigo and the others all have their own club activities to participate in, so today the mission of the Fall of Karakura Town fell to Tsuna, a member of the Homecoming Club.
It was a long time since he'd taken up his old ways again. Luckily, Tsuna took a nap in the infirmary during gym class, and most of the drowsiness in his mind had disappeared.
Stepping out of the school gate, Tsuna looked at the main road outside with a bored expression. It wasn't easy to encounter patrols in Karakura Town; usually, they were just aimlessly strolling around.
After a while, Tsuna decided on a destination for his stroll: he'd go to Xcution Cafe first.
After meeting Tsuna, Kugo Ginjo and the others moved Xcution from Naruki City to Karakura Town. Xcution's base also became Ichigo and the others often gathered.
Originally, Tatsuzawa Kiriko planned to open a bar, but considering that Ichigo and his group were all minors, she changed it to a coffee shop instead. Making money was secondary; the main thing was to have something to do.
As for money, it's not something Xcution needs to worry about. After arriving in Karakura Town, they recruited a blond boy named Yukio. Yukio's abilities are related to video games. With the help of the Xcution team, Yukio successfully opened a company, which is currently making a fortune.
jingle.
"Welcome! Oh, it's you?" Jackie's enthusiastic expression immediately faltered, and she reverted from a waitress to her lazy, homely self.
Xcution Coffee Shop is mainly run by two people: Tatsuzawa Kiriko and Jackie, one a coffee maker and the other a waitress. Due to its remote location, it rarely has any customers, making it an excellent secret hideout.
"Why is it just the two of you?" Tsuna asked casually as he sat down at the bar.
While expertly brewing coffee, Tatsuzawa Kiriko explained, "Yukio and Riruka were taken to training by Manager Urahara, Tsukishima went to buy supplies, and Ginjo is acting crazy inside."
Tsukishima and Ginjo have returned from Soul Society. After the invasion by Inaba Kagerōza, the Gotei 13 took the opportunity to wipe out the Seireitei. The Tsunayashiro Clan is now a thing of the past.
The restoration of the Projection Hall has cleared Kugo Ginjo, but unfortunately, Ginjo and his comrades have not truly avenged themselves.
When Ginjo and Ukitake stormed into the Tsunayashiro Clan, they found a pile of corpses belonging to the Tsunayashiro Clan members. The Tsunayashiro Clan had been wiped out, and it wasn't the Gotei 13 who did it.
After a brief investigation, Ukitake figured out who was behind it: Tsunayashiro Tokinada. Only Tokinada's body was not found at the Tsunayashiro Clan, which meant that Tokinada was still alive.
After searching the Seireitei and Rukongai without finding any trace of Tokinada Tsunayashiro, Ukitake and Ginjo had no choice but to temporarily give up. Ukitake continued to handle the remaining tasks for the nobles, while Ginjo and Tsukishima chose to return to Xcution.
The two of them had only been back for a short time, which is why the coffee shop's purchasing work was assigned to Tsukishima, so that Tsukishima could familiarize himself with the purchasing channels.
"What's wrong with Ginjo?" Tsuna curiously. Having experienced major life events such as the death of a friend, being framed, and being infiltrated, Ginjo should have a strong heart.
"According to him, he has his eye on a girl," said Jackie was reclining on the sofa with her legs crossed.
"What's going on?" Gossip is human nature. Tsuna casually took the coffee, which was even darker than Chinese medicine, and sat down on the sofa.
"We're not entirely sure either. We only met Ginjo after we came back. He seems to really love music. To have something in common with him, he wears wireless headphones and howls like a banshee in the back room every day."
Jackie spread her hands, somewhat helpless, but she didn't blame Ginjo for the noise. She just howled a couple of times, and the fact that he didn't turn on the stereo to destroy the house showed that Ginjo cared about them enough.
"That's truly amazing. It's understandable that Ginjo has reached this stage."
Tsuna frowned, took a bitter sip, and nodded understandingly. In the past, Ginjo had no interest in dating because he was focused on revenge. Now that the Fullbringer incident was temporarily over, it was a good thing that Ginjo had a new life.
"Why don't you go dig up some more juicy gossip?" Jackie looked interested and started encouraging Tsuna to dig up some gossip about Ginjo and the girl he liked.
"Forget it, I don't want to be tortured by Karthus." Tsuna swallowed his coffee in one gulp, stuck his tongue out at Tatsuzawa Kiriko Tsuna obvious disgust, and said, "Let's go, talk again next time."
"Next time, I guess you'll be coming to Ginjo's wedding," Jackie joked. She knew Tsuna was very busy, and she didn't know when he would come to Xcution again.
"Then you guys should keep pushing him to keep up with his progress." Tsuna left without looking back, continuing to wander the streets of Karakura Town.
As dusk approached, and it was another peaceful day, Tsuna headed home, turning back from the streets near the Xcution Cafe.
Smacking his lips, Tsuna felt a bitter taste still lingering in his mouth, probably from Tatsuzawa Kiriko's black coffee. He really couldn't handle drinking something like that without sugar or milk.
This could be considered a quirky quirk of Tatsuzawa Kiriko's; every time Tsuna goes to Xcution Cafe, all they ever have is black coffee.
Tatsuzawa Kiriko was no match for Tsuna in terms of strength, so this was a small act of revenge on him. Tsuna didn't take it too seriously, but every time he left the coffee shop, he would find something else to drink to mask the taste in his mouth.
Fortunately, there is no shortage of places to buy drinks in Japan. Whether it's in a park or on a street corner, you can find vending machines that appear randomly.
However, the vending machine didn't seem to be available.
A petite girl wearing a black mascot coat, a hood, a purple skirt, an amethyst lollipop in her mouth, and long golden hair peeking out from her neck, was poking at a vending machine with her hand.
Tsuna a little surprised. The world is so big, there really are all sorts of things. Today he actually encountered someone taking their anger out on a vending machine. If it weren't for the fact that it was a bit rude, he would have liked to take a picture and bring it back to talk to Tatsuki about.
Noticing the reflection at her feet, the girl who was venting her anger on the vending machine stiffly withdrew her arm, her face under the hood already flushed red.
How embarrassing! I actually let someone witness my childish antics. Did they think I didn't know how to use a vending machine?
The girl tugged at her hat, lowered her head, and hurried past Tsuna. As long as he didn't recognize her, it wouldn't be embarrassing!
Ninne Spunkur felt like she had the worst day ever. She had clearly sensed the presence of a dragon in the vicinity, but after searching all day, she hadn't found a single useful clue.
Not only did she not find it, she also got thirsty while searching. Just as she pressed the button on the vending machine to buy a bottle of water, she realized she didn't have a single penny with her.
There is one coin, but it's completely unusable in Japan.
The series of setbacks made Ninne a little upset, so she kept poking at the buttons on the vending machine. That was bad enough, but then someone saw her doing it, which was really embarrassing!
Ninne could only hope that the witness wasn't a reporter and wouldn't recognize her, otherwise it would cause her another unnecessary media crisis.
What bad luck! With that thought in mind, Ninne had only one idea: to leave quickly, find a secluded place, and then make other plans.
She had only taken two steps when she heard a clanging sound behind her. Ninne breathed a sigh of relief; it really was a customer buying something. Hopefully, they wouldn't bother her like those flies.
Things rarely go exactly as planned, Ninne was immediately greeted by a loud shout from behind her.
