Falling from the Heavens
Hyosube Ichibei announced his rebirth to Tsuna. This "new" was not just adding a name. Monk have the ability to have names. After adding the word "new" to himself, his whole body was completely renewed.
The Monk's body was covered in brand-new Shinigami Uniform. The horrifying bloodstains on his face had disappeared, and there was not a trace of burns on his body. He looked nothing like a disheveled person.
[No way? I have a bad feeling about this.] Byakuran's tone was full of unease.
[If nothing unexpected happens, the Monk's body has been completely reconstructed by the power of the Soul King's body. In a sense, the Monk is now a mini- Soul King.] Tsuna analyzed.
[Tsk! That's a huge problem.]
Just thinking about Byakuran gives me a headache. She couldn't even kill Monk only used a small piece of his intestines, so how could she possibly defeat this Monk Soul King all over?
[Fight! We must fight! We have no way out.]
The Decimo was quite certain that they had completely offended the Monk, Monk would never let Tsuna go.
[Then let's try our best and seal the Monk's entire body in flames!]
Tsuna made a decision, and the orange Sky Flame blotted out the sky. Supported by this boundless flame, Monk launched an attack on the Tsuna.
"Heh." Looking at the imposing Tsuna, the Monk merely gave a disdainful sneer.
No matter how big a scene Monk tries to create, it's useless. The Tsuna simply waves his hand, and a giant hand appears in the sky, moving in unison with him, like a fan to disperse the sea of fire.
Seeing that the Sky Flame couldn't get close to the Monk, Tsuna's heart sank to the bottom. This was the power of the Soul King, surpassing all other powers, on a completely different level. No matter how hard he tried, it was all in vain.
[It's not time to give up yet.] Suddenly, Kuri Enma's voice broke through the silence of the trio.
[The so-called power of the Soul King is the combination of four abilities simultaneously, right? Why not give it a try? Add the Quincy's power too!]
Kuri Enma's words immediately drew fierce opposition from the Decimo: "[No, Enma! We've tried it before. A hasty fusion will only produce uncontrollable power!]"
Back when Enma appeared inside Tsuna's body, the Decimo had studied the fusion of powers with Enma, which resulted in a violent explosion, forcing the Decimo to call on Byakuran was away at sea, to come back and save the day.
During Byakuran's treatment, the Decimo had to endure Byakuran's ridicule. After that, the fusion of Quincy powers was temporarily put on hold, and Tsuna focused on power Beyond Bankai.
It's fine when trying it in the inner world; as long as Tsuna's mentality doesn't collapse, there won't be any problems in the inner world. But if he tries it in reality, and an explosion occurs, even Tsuna might not be able to escape.
Therefore, the Decimo strongly opposed Kuri Enma's suggestion. If Tsuna didn't die, everyone would still have a chance, but if Tsuna was killed by his own explosion, then it would be truly over.
Even the usually frivolous Byakuran sided with the Decimo; he had witnessed the horrifying state of the two after their explosion.
[Not a fusion, but a grafting of four powers, use this!] In his inner world, Kuri Enma used his spiritual pressure to condense Tsuna's Quincy weapon, the Earth Crossbow.
[By intertwining the four powers around the arrow, and then using the arrow to detonate the four powers after it is fired, Tsuna can also be kept out of danger.] Kuri Enma explained his idea.
Now comes the time to make a decision. All four of them have been through many battles, and they are less likely to procrastinate, especially in such crucial moments.
"[Run, Tsuna!]" the Decimo said. Since he and Byakuran had no other options, why not try Kuri Enma's suggestion?
Without the slightest hesitation, the moment the Decimo spoke, Tsuna Flash Step, his Feather Boots, and his Armguard to propel himself away in a flash.
What Tsuna needs to do now is to create a safe distance between himself and the Monk, seemingly running away, but actually laying the groundwork for his next move.
The Monk didn't chase after Tsuna; he simply let Tsuna escape. Where could he possibly run to? This entire sky was the domain of the Soul King Palace.
The Monk opened his hand and made a grasping motion, and a giant palm appeared beside Tsuna. This was the Senri Touten Palm, and this time it truly reached a thousand miles away. The Monk could win battles from a thousand miles away simply by standing still.
Tsuna's movements were elusive, like a slippery eel. He used Flash Step, Sonido, and Fullbring Light in quick succession, seizing a chance from the Monk.
"It's about to begin, everyone!"
Tsuna performed a somersault, instantly extinguishing all the Sky Flames on his body. A dazzling six-pointed star cross stood in the sky, and seven Earth-attribute flames converged. Tsuna reached out and grasped the Earth Crossbow.
The black and white power did not materialize into Zanpakuto at Tsuna's lower back, but instead manifested as two human figures behind Tsuna.
It was the Decimo and Byakuran who did not choose to return to Tsuna's body because Quincy Tsuna could not simultaneously mobilize the powers of Bleach and a Hollow, which required them to do so.
Tsuna raised the Wrath of the Earth, and the Decimo and Byakuran stepped forward, extending their palms to hold the crossbows flat. The black and white power flowed along the crossbows and converged on the bolts.
The black and white colors swirled and intertwined, giving the crossbow bolts on the earth a black and white outer shell, but that wasn't enough.
The Decimo and Byakuran turned to look at Tsuna. Tsuna had a sudden thought; as a human, he needed to infuse the light of Fullbring into the arrow.
Ding! A pale green light bloomed on Tsuna's chest, and a ring emerged from his Tsuna. As the object that brought Tsuna through time, the ring responded to Tsuna's call.
A green Fullbring Light shone upon the arrow, enveloping it in the final power of Fullbring.
The arrows, twisted from black and white, were surrounded by specks of green fluorescence. This was an attack carrying Tsuna's four powers. They seemed to be separated by clear boundaries, yet they overlapped because of Tsuna's will.
At that moment, another golden palm slapped over, still as arrogant as ever. The Monk had no intention of catching up with Tsuna; he simply wanted to drive Tsuna to the brink of despair with each palm strike.
"Take this, Hyosube Ichibei!"
The Monk's figure appeared on the sight. Tsuna ignored the incoming Senri Touten Palm and pulled the trigger on the crossbow.
The Monk whose name was called sensed something, but Sawada Tsunayoshi was nowhere to be seen. Was he just making threats?
The next moment, the Monk suddenly raised his head, and a strange arrow appeared in front of him. The arrow carried four different powers. Without thinking, the Monk used the Soul King's Power within his body to grab the arrow.
These four different forces were relatively harmonious while they were on the crossbow bolt, but once it left Tsuna's side, the four forces began to become agitated, clashing and mixing with each other, as if none of them would yield to the others.
The violent collision had only one outcome: an explosion.
Boom!
The violent explosion engulfed the entire Soul King Palace. All four powers exploded simultaneously, and in that instant, even the Monk in his Lesser Soul King form was unable to contain the power of the explosion.
The Zero Division's Residence, the Omotesandō), and even the Inner Palace were all affected by the explosion and collapsed in an instant.
Hiss, the image in front of Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto turned black. At the end of the screen, he saw only a mushroom cloud rising from the Soul King Palace, blasting the entire Soul King Palace to smithereens.
Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto laughed. "Young man, you still can't keep your temper in check. You can flip the table all you want, but at least consider Soul King. The world doesn't seem to be acting strangely, so it seems Soul King is alright."
Just as Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto had guessed, the entire Soul King Palace was reduced to ruins. The destruction of the Zero Division's Residence caused Senjumaru and his two companions to cough up blood repeatedly. No one survived in the Inner Palace either; the only thing left was the enclosure where the Soul King was kept.
The Soul King, trapped within the crystal, was helpless. He was attacked, his house was destroyed, and he was forced to allocate some of his spiritual pressure to protect his room. He was exhausted.
Below the Soul King's enclosure lay a trembling Monk. Since he had been guarding the Soul King Palace, such a massive accident had never occurred before, a path leading to his death!
The Monk's eyes gleamed with golden light. He clenched his fist and pulled hard towards himself. A large golden hand, clutching something, flew out—it was Tsuna in his normal Bleach form.
Looking at the Monk's angry expression, Tsuna smiled helplessly. It seemed that even using all four powers together hadn't harmed the Monk in the slightest.
Tsuna strained to look at the veil above his head. "Soul King, your power ranking system is far too strict. There's absolutely no possibility of defeating someone of a higher level."
What Tsuna couldn't see was that the Soul King's pupils twitched again, and the Monk was completely oblivious, his Isshin being to vent his anger on Tsuna.
The Monk threw Tsuna hard to the ground, then reversed his body, gathered the newly formed Soul King power within him, and pushed Tsuna down with all his might.
An almost tangible palm chased after Tsuna. This attack, unleashed with the power of the Soul King, was something Sawada Tsunayoshi had no chance of resisting; this palm strike was meant to take Tsuna's life!
Actually, after striking out with his palm, the Monk calmed down. Sawada Tsunayoshi shouldn't have died; it was a huge waste of Soul King candidate.
However, the power of the Soul King was so great that even the Monk himself could not fully control it and could only let the attacks occur.
Feeling the terrifying pressure above his head, Tsuna struggled to resist, but the Soul King's power completely suppressed him. He was unable to move at all and could only let the handprints press him down layer by layer into the Seireitei.
Tsuna ignored the pain in his body, only a bitter smile remaining in his heart. What he had done to the Monk with the True X-Burner was now going to happen to him. Oh well, he could just wait for death to come.
I'm so sorry, Mom and Dad, Tatsuki. If there's an afterlife, I hope I can meet you again...
