London's Mirage
"I might be able to handle this."
Upon hearing Tsuna's words, Iemitsu slowly typed a question mark. Tsuna had only been in London for a short time; how could he possibly know the streets of London better than the Development Squad?
Tsuna didn't offer any further explanation, simply saying, "Let's go find Wolfgang; we still need his help with this."
Since Tsuna and the others are like saviors of London, the Development Squad now has a dedicated staff member to liaise with them. Tsuna simply said on his phone, "Find Wolfgang," and the Development Squad member sent the navigation to Tsuna's phone.
As soon as Tsuna and the others opened the door to Wolfgang's office, they saw that Wolfgang had already made coffee and was waiting for them.
"You don't seem too busy," Tsuna asked with a smile.
Wolfgang shook his head with a wry smile. "If you hadn't come, my office would still be surrounded by people asking for funding."
The rebuilding of London requires money everywhere, and the sudden influx of new people into Reverse London puts Wolfgang's management skills to the test.
What brings you here?
"My dad has a question, and I have an idea I'd like to ask for your opinion on." Tsuna explained Iemitsu's question to Wolfgang.
"That's true. Our idea at WB is to restore London as completely as possible. We can't let the outside world really think that London has been attacked by terrorists, can we?" Wolfgang shrugged. This was the only option available.
"I have a way to completely replicate the old London cityscape."
As he spoke, Tsuna snapped his fingers, and the scene in the room quickly changed. They were no longer in an office, but rather in a living room.
"Tsuna, why did you move our house here!" Iemitsu was startled. This was his living room, but his house had just been destroyed. He could only guess that Tsuna had moved it away beforehand.
Seeing this, Wolfgang somewhat understood Tsuna's intention, "Illusion?"
"Almost, but it's also real; you could say it's a real Illusion."
A six-pointed star flashed almost imperceptibly in Tsuna's eyes. Suddenly, he waved his hand, and the surrounding environment shifted and changed again. The walls crumbled and fell away, turning into piles of grayish-yellow sand.
"You can think of it as a mirage-like scene; I used sand to recreate in reality the scenes that my father had seen in his mind."
The six-pointed star in Tsuna's eyes contained the pattern of a desert. By utilizing the desert's properties of illusion and reality, he condensed the false Illusion into a real form using sand. Through this method, Tsuna recreated the Iemitsu's mind.
"So you're going to cast Illusion on everyone in London? No wonder you came looking for me." Wolfgang understood Tsuna's intentions.
"That's right. Isn't it easier to let the residents draw the neighborhoods they've seen before than to rack their brains to recreate them?" Tsuna seemed indifferent whether he did it or not. "Of course, the choice is yours. After all, this is Illusion cast on everyone."
"Having a London with Illusion components is good, at least the outside world won't question us." Wolfgang was quite confident in Tsuna. "As for Sawada-sensei, if you wanted to kill us, you didn't need to get involved in those two battles."
"So, please, Sawada-sensei, take charge. I'll handle the questions raised by the West Bureau!" Even though he looked older, Wolfgang's style of doing things remained as decisive as ever.
"That's settled then. I'll be heading back to Japan after I've dealt with this."
"Sawada-sensei, are you in such a hurry to leave? London can't be rebuilt in just one day," Wolf said with some concern. If Tsuna is going back anyway, wouldn't the Illusion have been wasted?
"Don't worry, I'll leave someone to keep an eye on things."
Tsuna, Iemitsu, and the others returned to London. The light of the Quincy Cross shone brightly. He waved his hand in front of him, and all 52 playing cards appeared before him. He then scattered all the cards in a circular pattern around himself, and the gray-yellow desert flames fell on every corner of London.
Residents of London, who were cleaning up their homes, suddenly found that the buildings in front of them were changing, and familiar street scenes reappeared before their eyes. It was as if the city had never been destroyed, and everything had returned to normal.
London? It's back!
A festive mood quickly spread throughout London. The residents said they were all worldly people and they couldn't accept that London had suddenly become better.
"Don't panic! This is WB's great Magicians helping us rediscover London's past!" Upon receiving the notification, the Magicians quickly began to control public opinion. "Look closely, everyone. This city is somewhat illusory; we can use it to rebuild our London!"
After the Magicians's reminder, the residents realized that this reappeared London city didn't seem to affect their perception of the real ruins at all; they could still clean up the garbage and rebuild London using this illusory city.
But public opinion is not something that Magicians can control with just a few words. Many people are already heading to their former homes, wanting to see if they are still the same as before.
This city is both illusory and real. It's so illusory that anyone inside can immediately tell it's fake, yet it's so real that ordinary people with no special abilities can walk on the sand to their familiar floors.
"Wow, that's amazing. From the outside, you can't tell at all that London has been destroyed."
Tatsuki flew back from afar, and the instant the Illusion was activated, she used Flash Step to leave, standing high in the sky to witness the birth of this mirage-like London. With this city blocking the way, other countries didn't need to ask what had happened in London.
Iemitsu was overjoyed and had already taken Nana back to their familiar place for a visit.
Whether you see it or not makes no difference, because the entire cityscape is constructed based on the similar memories of London residents, and it remains exactly the same as before.
"Aren't we supposed to be heading back to Japan right away? Can you maintain your spiritual pressure across the sea?" Tatsuki asked.
"It's not as dramatic as crossing the sea, it's just a matter of people being transported. Please, Kuri Enma."
Kuri Enma emerged from Tsuna's body once again, clutching his head in the agony of work. Tsuna had already paid his spiritual pressure in advance; with Kuri Enma there, the fake London city was being maintained.
"How did you even come up with that? When are we leaving?" Tatsuki asked.
"It's not 'us,' it's just myself, maybe with Ginjo added," Tsuna explained to Tatsuki. "The school needs you guys to cover for me."
The incident happened rather suddenly. Tsuna didn't plan to take a large group of people back to Japan. People like Ichigo and Orihime were completely tied up right now, and the sudden loss of so many people at the school was hard to explain.
"By the way, I applied for an exchange student spot for Chad, so he can have more contact with Magicians in Reverse London. I guess he should be able to sense the power of Magicians by now."
"As for me, just say I really miss my parents and have decided to take a few days off to spend more time with them. My parents will cooperate."
"You guys made up a spot for outstanding students, saying you wanted to spend more time interacting with the students in London, to break away from the group, and to exchange and learn with Noelle."
With such a serious safety incident, this school trip can't be easily dismissed. Tsuna's teacher and classmates were knocked unconscious by the Development Squad the moment they entered Reverse London. After the hotel and school were set up in Outer London, their memories were erased and they were sent back to Outer London.
It's not just the Japanese exchange group that gets this treatment; the Development Bureau operates this way for all non-London residents. Apart from Londoners, Reverse London must maintain its mystique in front of outsiders.
Tsuna explained the arrangements for his friends, he noticed that Tatsuki a little disappointed. He could only gently hug her and encourage her, saying, "Please, I'm entrusting the teachers and classmates here, as well as my identity, to you."
Tatsuki wasn't the delicate type. After nodding solemnly, she wiped away the tears from the corners of her eyes. "I'll go find Uryū and help them."
Tatsuki did consider going to see Orihime, but thinking that Orihime might be enjoying their little world, she decided not to disturb her. Uryū was also short-handed in driving away the Dark Dragon.
After watching Tatsuki leave, Tsuna returned to Reverse London. He opened a wormhole and walked directly out from the edge of Ginjo, startling Ginjo.
"I still can't get used to your power, it's terrifying!" Ginjo said, slumped on the sofa and patting his chest.
When Tsuna grabbed him by the back of his collar for the first time, Ginjo almost drew his sword. Luckily, he didn't actually draw it. After transmigrating, seeing Tsuna's cold appearance enveloped in the Night Flame really frightened him.
Ginjo laughed at Hirako's appearance; as long as there was something amusing to watch, he would not hesitate to watch the drama unfold.
"Tell me, what exactly do you want from me?" Tsuna sat down on another sofa.
Getting down to business, Ginjo sat up straight. "I'm not sure if it's a big deal, but we suddenly lost contact with Urahara Kisuke, and his lab is in complete disarray; it seems to have been attacked."
"Yoruichi Shihōin went to Hueco Mundo to search, and I led Xcution to search all over Karakura Town. Not to mention Soul Society, the Research and Development Bureau reported that they haven't found Urahara Kisuke in Soul Society."
As Tsuna listened, he began to analyze, "Something's not right. Before I left, I asked the shopkeeper to protect Karakura Town. He couldn't have hidden himself away for no reason."
"Yoruichi's analysis is the same as yours. She's more inclined to believe that Urahara Kisuke disappeared passively, so she mobilized us to search for him," Ginjo said, recounting what he knew.
"Disappeared passively?" Tsuna was even more puzzled. With Urahara Kisuke's sharp mind and immense strength, who would be so foolish as to cause Urahara Kisuke trouble?
"The current definition is missing, because we can't find the person who did it," Ginjo said. "Also, when you brought me here, I had just taken a seriously injured Bleach to Ishida Hospital. She was Nozomi Kujō, the Bleach stationed in Karakura Town."
After experiencing the invasion, Nozomi Kujō volunteered to become the Bleach of Karakura Town.
Tsuna understood Ginjo's meaning. "You suspect that Nozomi Kujō knows something? The reason you're not in a hurry to take me back is because the seriously injured Nozomi Kujō hasn't regained consciousness yet, so going back would be pointless?"
"Smart." Ginjo gave a thumbs up.
"Idiot! Besides using my Sun Attribute Fire to accelerate injury recovery, I can also reply that if I go to help Uncle Ryūken, Nozomi Kujō will wake up even faster!"
