Hanatarō's Killing Intent
Upon hearing his name, Tokinada Tsunayashiro exclaimed with feigned surprise, "I didn't expect anyone in Seireitei to remember my name."
"Ah, you're quite famous in Seireitei. What's your scheme in showing up here?" Renji asked, pointing his sword at Tokinada Tsunayashiro.
"A conspiracy? You're overthinking it. I'm just here to deliver something."
A black bead appeared on Shi Tan's fingertip; it was the fake Hogyoku that Dohane Aura had stolen from Urahara Kisuke.
"With this, you won't have any rejection reactions, right?" As he spoke, Tokinada Tsunayashiro inserted the Hogyoku into Soya Ashirogi's body.
Like a miracle drug, Hogyoku entered his body, the broken state of Soya Ashirogi's body immediately returned to normal, and he began to breathe rhythmically, as if he had fallen asleep.
Tokinada Tsunayashiro Soya Ashirogi with two fingers, as if he were carrying a piece of trash, and said with obvious disdain, "There are more and more people. Next time we meet, I'll have him have a proper chat with you."
"Stop!"
Renji immediately realized that Tokinada Tsunayashiro was trying to escape. As he unleashed Zabimaru and swung it at him, Tokitan's body was slowly becoming illusory, and Zabimaru passed through his body.
"Damn it, he got away!" Renji said resentfully.
"Vice-Captain Abarai, what happened here?"
Renji turned around, his eyes filled with disbelief, and immediately went into battle alert. "Tou... Kaname Tōsen? You escaped!"
Upon seeing Kaname Tōsen, Renji immediately assumed that the other party was there to cause trouble. However, Kaname Tōsen completely ignored Renji, squatted down, and began to examine the spot where Tsunayashiro Tokinada had been standing.
"Komamura, I'm pretty sure it's the scent of the Reishi from Tokinada Tsunayashiro." Kaname Tōsen declared that he would never forget the sensory experience of those Reishi, even if it meant his death.
"Is that so? Vice-Captain Abarai, Vice-Captain Kuchiki, could you tell me what happened here?" Komamura's tall figure blocked Renji's view of the sun.
"Captain Komamura, what's going on here?"
"Tōsen was granted temporary release in order to pursue Tokinada Tsunayashiro. To prove his innocence, he voluntarily sought me out as his supervisor," Komamura explained.
"I see." Renji believed this explanation. After Tsuna's explanation, the story of how Kaname Tōsen followed Aizen had been published in the Seireitei Communication. This was a secret known to everyone in the Seireitei.
"I'm..." Renji was interrupted before he could even begin.
"Perfect timing, tell us about it too, Vice-Captain Abarai." Kyōraku led the way, and one by one the captains of Seireitei appeared. The immense spiritual pressure of the Ikomomomaba had already attracted everyone's attention.
Kyōraku's arrival meant that this was not just a simple storytelling, but a serious work report. Renji recounted in detail his encounter with a child in the aristocratic district who called himself Soya Ashirogi.
"The noble quarter? I really have overlooked this place." Kyōraku sighed. Maintaining the privacy of the nobles was an unspoken secret among everyone.
"Captain-Commander Kyōraku, if it's inconvenient for you, I can investigate by myself," Kaname Tōsen said, stepping forward.
No matter what they find out, Kyōraku can easily pin it on him. Kaname Tōsen doesn't care at all; all he wants is the whereabouts of Tokinada Tsunayashiro.
Kyōraku couldn't help but look at Kaname Tōsen newfound respect. No wonder he was Aizen's most trusted confidant; his insight was truly remarkable.
"No need. There aren't many people in this noble district who can combine all four powers." It wasn't Kyōraku who objected, but Unohana Retsu. "Plus, Vice-Captain Abarai mentioned the word 'rejection reaction,' leaving only one person."
Unohana Retsu led the way in one direction, "To the Noble Hospital, to find their director, the former Vice-Captain of the Fourth Division, Seinosuke Yamada."
"Captain Unohana, why do you think Kiyōnosuke Yamada can do it?" Kyōraku asked calmly as he followed.
"It's simple. If I can do it, he can do it too. As for Isane, he's just a little bit short," Unohana Retsu said. "If we don't count Kirinjī Tenshirō and Sawada Tsunayoshi, Yamada Seinosuke's ability to respond is the closest to mine."
In the end, it was Rukia Kuchiki, the one who was taken in as a younger sister by Byakuya Kuchiki, who led the way in the noble hospital incident.
Given the prevailing atmosphere in the noble district, even if Captain-Commander Kyōraku were to come, everyone would still have to wait in line, whether it was for medical treatment or to see their hospital director. Only after Rukia intervened did the hospital staff open the back door for them, allowing them to see the hospital director on their own.
The room at the far end of the hospital rooftop was empty except for a solitary door. Before even reaching the door, Unohana Retsu keenly sensed, "There's a smell of blood."
The group immediately went into battle alert. Soi Fon, the Stealth Force, walked silently to the door, and with a flick of her finger, easily unlocked it.
The door opened, revealing a person lying in a pool of blood. The group filed in, each with their own duties: some guarded, some searched, some collected clues, and most importantly, Unohana Retsu immediately checked the condition of the person lying on the ground.
"The pupils are dilated, the blood has dried, and most importantly, the Reishi has begun to dissipate. There's no hope."
No one would disagree with Unohana Retsu's judgment; no one expected that Kiyōnosuke Yamada.
"It smells like Reishi 'Tokinada Tsunayashiro; he used to stay here for a long time," Kaname Tōsen said.
"Different types of corpses have been found; human experiments are suspected to have been conducted here." Muguruma Kensei's voice came from further inside the office.
"There appear to be correspondence between Kiyōnosuke Yamada and the Tsunayashiro Clan..." Soi Fon's voice came over.
As evidence emerges, it becomes clear that Kiyōnosuke Yamada assisted Tokinada Tsunayashiro complete human experiments, stitching together four different types of bodies to create the unstable creature Soya Ashirogi.
"I understand. I'll inform Tsuna right away and see if he's found anything," Kyōraku said.
In the Fourth Division Barracks, Tsuna and Urahara Kisuke walked in with Dohane Aura, and Jinta. Tsuna had his arm around Jinta's shoulder, and the two were bickering.
"Hedgehog, you're not lying to me again, are you?" Jinta's words were full of suspicion.
"What do you mean by lying! I promised a little too early and delivered a little late, so just tell me whether I delivered or not!" Tsuna, unconvinced.
"You'd better pay up first, you spiky liar!"
"Heh, don't come kneeling in front of me begging for the knife!" Tsuna retorted, finding it amusing to banter with someone who wasn't afraid of him.
As for the matter of the sword, ever since Koume obtained the Zanpakuto Muramasa, Jinta has remained silent, and his lively personality, which used to be so outspoken, seems to have changed completely.
Tsuna noticed that Jinta was acting strangely and immediately realized that Jinta was envious of Koume, envious that she had her own Zanpakuto.
While comforting Jinta, Tsuna promised him that one day he would find him a Zanpakuto far more powerful than Muramasa.
Although Tsuna knew the sword was in the Soul King Palace Soul King Palace, he couldn't attack it. After the battle with the Monk ended, the sword was stolen by Tsunayashiro Tokinada.
As things dragged on, Tsuna became known as the spiky liar in Jinta's eyes. It was Tsuna's idea to bring Jinta along this time. After finding out the location where Dohane Aura stole the knife, Tsuna was prepared to fulfill his promise.
In the Fourth Division's tea room, after listening to Kyōraku's account of Renji's battle, Tsuna tapped Jinta's forehead in annoyance.
"Did you hear that? That's Renji that could even defeat Zanpakuto. Its Shikai was able to withstand his Bankai."
Jinta remained silent; he wouldn't easily admit he was convinced until he saw the sword. Renji, on the other hand, was somewhat displeased. "What do you mean, 'Shikai overpowered my Bankai '?! I did that to prevent widespread destruction in the Seireitei..."
Tsuna waved his hand, interrupting Renji's excuses. "Alright, it's not something embarrassing. He's the Gillian from the ancient Hueco Mundo."
"Ancient Gillian?" Everyone became interested upon hearing Tsuna's words.
"Legend has it that the strongest Hollow in Hueco Mundo during the ancient times devoured countless Hollows, and its body became incredibly large."
"One day, he suddenly had the idea to use the Soul King Palace to prove his strength. As a result, he was forged into Zanpakuto by Ōetsu Nimaiya, and Monk monk even changed his name to something..." Tsuna couldn't remember for a moment; it was all the same characters.
"Ikomomomaba," Renji added, having heard the release phrase twice. "No wonder there was such immense spiritual pressure; I almost fell for it."
"That's the situation," Tsuna said, pointing at Dohane Aura. "Tokinada Tsunayashiro wants to use an artificial Soul King to destroy Soul Society and become king himself. I have a guide here who knows which Valley of Screams he's in. Let's go there now and take him down in one fell swoop."
Before Kyōraku could answer, the tea room door was suddenly flung open, and Hanatarō Yamada barged in. Gone was his usual gentle and timid demeanor; his eyes were filled with a fierce glint as he stared at Tsuna and asked.
"Sawada-sensei, could you take me with you?!" Even though it was a question, his tone was forceful. Hanatarō's fists were clenched tightly. He had never been so angry before. "I will avenge my brother!"
Kiyōnosuke Yamada is Hanatarō Yamada's older brother. Seinosuke is not a good person; he is verbally abusive and has no friends. However, he has always been very good to his younger brother Hanatarō. He is like an umbrella that shelters Hanatarō from the wind and Hanatarō, protecting him from physical bullying.
The moment Hanatarō learned of Aonosuke's death, he felt as if the sky were falling. Upon seeing his brother's body, an emotion he had never felt before, a feeling of hatred, arose within him.
Without offering any advice to Hanatarō on controlling his emotions, Tsuna simply smiled and asked, "Can you still draw your sword now?"
"Of course!" Hanatarō drew his Zanpakuto, its blade gleaming with an unprecedented chill.
