The Begging Stray Dog
Tsuna glanced inside, only to be spotted by Yachiru quick-witted Tsuna, who waved Yachiru and greeted him, "Tsuna, you're here too?"
"Yo, Yachiru." Tsuna waved to Yachiru. It's hard not to like a cute and cheerful little girl like Yachiru.
When Tsuna greeted them like that, everyone in the room who was still awake focused their attention on him, especially Tsuna, Kenpachi was struggling to get up with a face full of anger.
"Damn it, fight me again, you bastard!" Kenpachi was still resentful about how he lost so inexplicably, and wished he could grab his sword and fight Tsuna again right now.
Kenpachi's actions startled Ikkaku and Yumichika quickly pressed him back onto the hospital bed. They had rested for a day and were almost fully recovered, so they could take care of Kenpachi.
"Captain, don't get agitated, the wound is about to burst open!"
The Shiba blocked everyone's way, believing he was the only one in the room with any fighting ability. "Ryoka, what do you want, chasing me all the way to the Fourth Division!"
"We shouldn't be so wary. I'm just here to bring two wounded soldiers," Tsuna said.
"Which Bleach have you hurt this time?" Shiba was quite wary of Tsuna, whose captain, Sajin Komamura, was still unconscious. According to Unohana Retsu, he would need to remain unconscious for a while before waking up.
"Don't make me sound like one of those muscle-bound idiots who just walk around and start fighting, okay?" In the blink of an eye, Tsuna leaned on Shiba's shoulder and looked at the belligerents of the Squad 11. "I just found an injured Bleach on the street and kindly brought him in for treatment."
Shiba Ranger's back was covered in cold sweat. He couldn't react to Tsuna's movements at all, which meant that if Tsuna wanted to attack him, it would only take a blink of an eye.
Compared to the Shiba, Yachiru showed absolutely no fear of Tsuna. She skipped over to Tsuna and asked, "Tsuna, when can I fight Kenpachi again? Kenpachi is really impatient!"
"Let's talk about it after he recovers," Tsuna said in a tone that sounded like he was trying to fool a child.
"Sawada Tsunayoshi, right? Once I recover from my injuries, I'll definitely cut you down!"
Kenpachi completely failed to detect Tsuna's deceptive tone. Instead, after receiving Tsuna's promise, he stopped struggling and was willing to focus on recovering from his injuries. Akisame's slash was very deep, and the wounds on Kenpachi's body were not as simple as just a sword mark on the surface.
Tsuna thought for a moment and realized that he seemed to be targeted by Kenpachi, this battle maniac. This wouldn't do; he had to find a way to get rid of this piece of chewing gum.
"Actually, you don't need to focus solely on me. Just like the principle of taking down the minions before the boss, you should defeat my companions first before challenging me."
"Let me tell you a secret, my companions are all quite strong. For example, there's this guy named Ichigo Kurosaki, whose strength, when he unleashes his full power, is no less than mine. Captain Zaraki, you could try finding a different prey to test your skills."
Adhering to the principle of "better to die than lose my own teammate," Ichigo betrayed Tsuna, his Little Ichi friend. As for Tsuna's claim that Ichigo was no less capable than him, strictly speaking, it wasn't entirely a lie, provided that Ichigo could fully control the power within him.
"Ichigo Kurosaki? Interesting. Yachiru, remember this name, he's the next prey!" Kenpachi had taken the bait as expected. For him, as long as the prey was a strong opponent, he would not refuse any comer.
"Received, Kenpachi." Yachiru waved playfully.
"Ichigo Kurosaki? Are you in cahoots with that guy too?"
Having been knocked down twice by Ichigo, Renji sat up upon hearing Ichigo's name. However, the movement aggravated his injuries, forcing him to lie down again.
"Isn't this Vice-Captain Abarai? It doesn't feel good to be defeated by Ichigo twice in a row, does it?" Tsuna asked with a smile.
"Twice... you weren't there both times, were you?" Renji's clever mind quickly connected the dots.
"Oh right, having witnessed you being defeated twice, even Bankai isn't that reliable. You can only blame your master for being a half-baked amateur." Tsuna spoke, his eyes kept glancing towards Ikkaku.
Tsuna felt Ikkaku chill run down his spine from the look in his eyes. "Hey, what's with all the staring at me?!"
"Oh? Renji's swastika..."
Before Tsuna could finish speaking, Ikkaku leaped over and covered his mouth, whispering Tsuna, "You can talk about anything, just don't mention that I have Bankai."
Ikkaku Madarame kept the fact that he knew Bankai. In his mind, anyone who knew Bankai would be chosen as a captain, and he only wanted to follow Kenpachi Zaraki. So after learning Bankai, he never used it and kept it hidden.
"No problem, no problem."
Tsuna had an understanding expression, and just as Ikkaku was about to relax, Kenpachi's question made his heart jump into his throat again.
"Hey, Ikkaku, what are you guys whispering about?"
"No, I'm just helping the captain schedule the next battle."
Ikkaku quickly turned around and spoke to Kenpachi Zaraki with an expression and actions that were impossible to lie about. Anyone else would have doubted Ikkaku, but that was Kenpachi Zaraki. Apart from fighting, he rarely used his brain for anything else.
Just as Ikkaku managed to fool Kenpachi, a playful pink-haired girl peeked out from behind Ikkaku, looking like she was tattlering, "Kenpachi, I heard it! Baldy said he Bankai."
"Vice-Captain, what nonsense are you spouting!"
Startled by Yachiru's words, Ikkaku quickly pulled her down, but Yachiru had already revealed Ikkaku's secret, leaving Ikkaku unsure how to deceive Kenpachi.
Meanwhile, Tsuna watched the show from the sidelines. He had already discovered that Yachiru had sneaked up behind Ikkaku's back. If Ikkaku hadn't exposed him, he would have really Bankai someone who could use Bankai was some kind of powerful figure.
"Ikkaku, let's have a good fight when we get back!" Kenpachi grin.
"Huh? Captain, you're not angry?"
"Why would I be angry? The Bankai proves you've become stronger, right? If you had told me sooner, I wouldn't be so bored, and I could have been fighting every day." Kenpachi said, as he had been extremely bored because he couldn't find a suitable opponent in Seireitei.
"But if I Bankai, what if I get chosen as the captain... Ouch!"
Ikkaku flicked Tsuna's smooth forehead. "What are you thinking? You think Bankai makes you a captain? You're hiding such a lame excuse. You're such a half-baked guy."
"That's right, Ikkaku. If you have power, don't hide it. It's what a real man does to use it openly and honestly," said the other Shiba listening to the story.
"Hey, you!" Ikkaku couldn't say anything to the Shiba, but he had no reason to hide anything from Tsuna, an outsider. Just as he was about to angrily confront this guy who always called him a half-baked idiot, he heard Tsuna say to Kenpachi.
"Kenpachi, go a little lighter. This guy's Bankai a bit fragile; once it's damaged, it can't be repaired," Tsuna warned.
"Why do you act like you know my Zanpakuto so well!" Ikkaku asked angrily, veins bulging on his forehead.
"Did I say something wrong? Ryumon Hozukimaru?"
Tsuna's words completely changed Ikkaku's expression. Ryumon Hozukimaru is the name of his Bankai, and the fact that Tsuna could say it shows that he truly understands his ability.
Ikkaku immediately fell silent, looking Tsuna up and down. At this moment, even he himself doubted whether his Bankai was really a bit too fragile.
Renji Ikkaku with Tsuna, Ikkaku turned his attention to the lying-down Renji, saying, "Speaking of which, you still have the mood to lie here? I heard Rukia's sentence was moved up."
Renji never expected Tsuna to bring him such explosive news. After being defeated by Ichigo that night, he was unaware of many things happening in the Seireitei.
Renji struggled to his feet, this time the pain no longer held him back, and his eyes were filled with concern for Rukia.
Are you telling the truth?
"It's news from this morning; you can ask anyone," Tsuna said.
Renji immediately looked at Shiba, who was in good physical condition. Shiba thought for a moment and said, "It seems there is such news. The incident is in three days."
"Three days..." Renji didn't speak, silently making plans.
"Trying to storm the execution ground? Your strength isn't quite up to par~" Tsuna saw right through Renji's thoughts.
Renji's breath hitched. He realized that Tsuna seemed to be right; his injuries were the best proof. If he couldn't even handle a Ryoka, how could he possibly rescue Rukia Kuchiki in front of all the captains?
"Renji, this violates the rules of Soul Society. If you do this, you will be punished along with Rukia Kuchiki!" Shiba, the most loyal member of the squad, immediately stepped forward to remind him.
Renji completely ignored the warnings from the Shiba; he no longer cared about his own safety and was preoccupied with how to rescue Rukia.
Renji originally thought that he would be able to save Rukia after learning Bankai, but now Renji realizes that the power of Bankai is still not enough.
Seeing Renji deep in thought, Tsuna lost interest again. He had thought he could tease Renji, but now it was time to check on Chad's injury.
"Yachiru, I have to go now. Let's play together again next time we meet." Among this group, only Yachiru can make Tsuna become gentle.
"Okay, bye-bye, Tsuna."
Yachiru waved happily, while Shiba looked at Tsuna with a look of apprehension. He didn't have the strength to defeat Tsuna, and could only guard against Tsuna attacking his companions.
"Wait a minute!"
Just as Tsuna was about to leave the hospital room, Renji's voice called out to him. Renji was seen bowing to Tsuna on the hospital bed in Dogeda).
"Renji!" Renji Abarai's action stunned the surrounding Bleach.
"You're Ichigo Kurosaki's comrade, right? Ichigo Kurosaki said he came to save Rukia. Please, no matter what, rescue Rukia. I'll do anything you ask!"
After a brainstorming session, Renji could only think of Tsuna, the one who had taken down two of the captains' Tsuna patients, as the only person who could stand up to them. That's why he begged Tsuna to rescue Rukia.
Tsuna didn't expect Renji to do such a thing. The two defeats against Ichigo were a huge blow to Renji, making this wild dog who used to look up at the sky learn to bow his head and beg.
If Tsuna had known Renji would act this way, he wouldn't have teased him. Renji's pleading only made Tsuna feel bored.
"Look up. If you want to save her so badly, you should risk your life to do it yourself, instead of begging me here," Tsuna asked.
"I will go, even if it costs me my life." Rukia held a very important place in Renji's heart. "But to ensure everything goes smoothly, please join me. I will stay behind to cover the retreat."
"Renji!" Shiba never expected Renji to say such a rebellious thing.
"You've decided?" Tsuna's face lit up with a playful smile again. This kind of man who'd risk everything was worth helping.
"It's decided. If you can save Rukia, my life is yours!" Renji said resolutely.
"Come with me, I'll take you to find Ichigo. We still have a few days left, so we can have some intensive training."
Renji didn't hesitate at all. Even though he fell twice in pain, he still firmly followed Tsuna's footsteps.
