Background / History

Jinghuo was born to Seifu Uchiha and Seiya Uchiha. Their presumed deaths on the night of the Nine-Tails attack shaped both his resentment toward Konoha’s leadership and Shisui’s guilt toward him. As a child, Jinghuo was closely associated with Shisui, whom he addresses as his brother, and trained alongside Sasuke on the Uchiha back mountain. 3 20

At three months old, he received a system quest to kill Danzō. He soon gained the Mangekyo Sharingan by completing a quest involving Shisui, beginning a pattern in which increasingly violent quests rewarded him with greater power. 3

After Danzō stole Shisui’s right eye, Jinghuo’s rage led to the activation of Susanoo and forced Konoha to return the stolen eye. The incident left him blind and exhausted, after which he was monitored for nearly a year. During this period, many Uchiha began treating him as the figure capable of leading the clan against Konoha. 12 16 20

Jinghuo became Uchiha clan head and drove the clan’s separation from Konoha’s authority. He offered Itachi a choice between leaving the clan with Sasuke or becoming Root’s leader, while the Uchiha relinquished control of the Police Force to the Shimura clan. 32

He later left Konoha alone to pursue Orochimaru, accompanied only by several Root members for daily support. His departure and subsequent battles made him a target of major villages, bounty hunters, Orochimaru, and Akatsuki. 52 54 59

Jinghuo is described as a young Uchiha boy with a buzz cut and characteristically listless, “dead fish” eyes when his dōjutsu is not active. 16 20 39

Despite his brutality, he is deeply invested in the Uchiha’s survival and resents clan members who mistake his strength for permission to behave arrogantly. He expects competence, obedience, and personal responsibility from them, sometimes responding to failure or insubordination with intimidation. 66 75 90

He is confident enough to seek stronger opponents and treats many lethal confrontations casually. However, he can show restraint toward people who make choices he approves of, such as Shikaku Nara, and he permits Orochimaru to revive Orochi Dou. 53 181
