Wang Jingze pursued the Heart of Azeroth, helped Robbie Reyes confront the Fifth Street Gang’s aftermath, and assembled a team at the Power New Energy Laboratory. After obtaining the Darkhold, he exchanged its knowledge for Azeroth Blood and began using the blood to strengthen himself, while Ancient One detected a connection to an unfamiliar universe.

• Old Wang and Skye tracked the Heart of Azeroth to Peter, and Wang intervened when Robbie Reyes attacked the Fifth Street Gang, kicking a rocket back at the gang and letting Robbie take Peter.
• The Heart of Azeroth awakened and revealed that Old Wang needed more Azeroth Blood to return to Azeroth, so he continued investigating Robbie, the Darkhold, and the laboratory.
• Old Wang told Robbie how Eli, Joseph, the Fifth Street Gang, and the Darkhold were connected, then went with Skye and Robbie to investigate The Laboratory before S.H.I.E.L.D. arrived.
• Old Wang released Lucy and the other ghosts, recruited them alongside Joseph, Eli, and Robbie, and escaped the S.H.I.E.L.D. team with Skye and the others.
• Old Wang found the Darkhold hidden in Joseph’s basement and sent it to Azeroth Miss, who read its contents and offered to exchange the book for Azeroth Blood.
• Old Wang refused to surrender the Darkhold itself and exchanged only its knowledge for ninety grams of Azeroth Blood.
• Old Wang ordered a bottle of Well of Eternity essence for himself, while Ancient One detected a powerful connection to an unfamiliar universe and told Mordo to monitor time-space changes in North America.

Old Wang rescued Eli, clashed with the Winter Soldier, and gathered Lucy, Robbie, and their companions around a new laboratory and shop. After settling in New York and healing Gabe, he drew Natasha Romanoff’s attention and sold S.H.I.E.L.D. all ten jars of his Essence Wine.

• The Ancient One warned Baron Mordo that repeated channel openings could reveal the unknown mage’s location, while Old Wang traded Azeroth Blood for a depleted Well of Eternity Bottle and decided to limit his openings.
• Old Wang split his group between the prison and Roxxon Power Plant, where Lucy’s Ghost Infection plunged the prison into chaos and Old Wang rescued Eli and the Fifth Street Gang Boss.
• Old Wang took Eli and the Fifth Street Gang Boss to the power plant, where Robbie agreed to build the Quantum Generator and Hydra abducted Joseph while S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra converged on the site.
• The Winter Soldier attacked S.H.I.E.L.D., but Old Wang defeated him, identified him as Sergeant Barnes, and rescued Natasha before the Winter Soldier escaped.
• Eli completed the Quantum Generator, which turned Lucy and three other ghosts human, and Old Wang teleported them and their equipment to Puerto Rico before returning to Los Angeles with Skye.
• Old Wang healed Gabe’s legs with magical mist and Well of Eternity Water essence, then recruited Robbie and Gabe to join him on the trip to New York.
• Old Wang opened the Azeroth Specialties Shop with Skye managing sales and Robbie handling deliveries, while Gabe trained and the Darkhold Laboratory struggled for money and supplies.
• Natasha investigated Old Wang and visited the shop to learn about the Iron Fist, then Old Wang offered her ten jars of diluted Essence Wine for one million dollars and Egghead told her to buy them all at a discount.

Old Wang killed Madame Gao and became entangled in the conflict between K'un-Lun and The Hand while building ties with S.H.I.E.L.D. The arc ended with an agreement to cooperate against The Hand as S.H.I.E.L.D. prepared the Avengers Initiative.

• Old Wang sold captured Hydra agents to S.H.I.E.L.D. and traded information about Hydra for money, equipment, and intelligence access.
• Robbie attacked Madame Gao's factory, and Old Wang killed Zhou Cheng and electrocuted Madame Gao with Jade Lightning.
• Old Wang captured Madame Gao, recruited Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson as legal advisers, and began investigating The Hand and potential scientific collaborators.
• Stick and Elektra arrived in New York as The Hand gathered forces, while Matt learned that Stick was tied to K'un-Lun and the True Pure Ones Society.
• Old Wang intervened when Giyoka Shin and Yamaguchi-gumi ninjas attacked Matt, Stick, and Elektra, defeating the attackers and helping stabilize Elektra.
• Alexandra mobilized The Hand's leaders against Old Wang, while S.H.I.E.L.D. took over the aftermath and Old Wang sheltered Matt, Stick, and Elektra.
• Old Wang and Egghead agreed that S.H.I.E.L.D. would locate The Hand and K'un-Lun would lead the purge, while S.H.I.E.L.D. supplied Old Wang with titanium gear.
• Egghead explained the Avengers Initiative, and Old Wang declined to join while agreeing to tell Iron Fist about it.

Old Wang trained Matt, Elektra, Stick, and S.H.I.E.L.D. agents before leading the assault that destroyed The Hand and defeated the Beast. He opened the Dragon Bone seal, claimed its treasures, and returned to his shop with plans to use the Dragon Bone to sustain the Heart of Azeroth.

• Old Wang saved Elektra from the Beast and promised to train her, Matt, and Stick in martial arts and qi.
• Old Wang brought Gabe, Skye, Matt, Elektra, and Stick to S.H.I.E.L.D.’s Feuerstein Base, where Fitz and Simmons gave him a transforming staff and clawed gauntlets.
• The Hand leaders prepared to empower the Beast with the Dragon Bone, and Old Wang joined S.H.I.E.L.D.’s assault on their base.
• Old Wang survived the base’s collapse, killed Alexandra and the other Fingers, and fought the Beast while Matt, Elektra, Stick, Black Widow, and Robbie faced Black Sky.
• A fragment of Kil'jaeden’s Darkness of a Thousand Souls destroyed the boy’s unstable souls, allowing Old Wang to defeat the Beast and produce twenty-four Soul Shards.
• Old Wang adapted his True Qi to break the seal, released the bone dragon, and stored its bones in the Heart of Azeroth as the Beast’s residual power spread chaos through Hell’s Kitchen.
• Old Wang collected Alexandra’s valuables while Egghead ordered S.H.I.E.L.D. to recover the Resurrection Coffin and send it with a Kree corpse to Tahiti Island.
• Old Wang returned to his shop and planned to sell the seized goods, fund research, and use the Dragon Bone to activate and sustain the Heart of Azeroth.
