Arc 1Bei Ming’s Northern Foundations
Bei Ming established himself in the North, claimed the Three Immortal Islands, and formed ties with the Wu Clan and the siblings Fuxi and Nüwa. As the Wu Clan’s rivals considered uniting, Bei Ming remained reluctant to join either side and continued as a free cultivator.
- Lin Bei awakened as Kun Peng, cultivated for countless years, and met the Mystic Turtle, who gave him the Xuan Yuan Controlling Water Flag and entrusted him with seeing the world.
- Bei Ming reached the Northern Continent, defeated Ice Soul Daoist at Changbai Mountain, claimed his treasures, and built Great Void Palace while seeking to cleanse the North’s baleful qi.
- Bei Ming took control of Penglai, Fangzhang, and Yingzhou, collected their treasures, and discovered the trapped Destruction Demon God beneath the Three Immortal Islands.
- Bei Ming stored the Three Immortal Islands in his Returning Ruins, fought Ju Mang over the Wu Clan’s territorial claim, and earned Ju Mang’s respect as a Daoist friend.
- Bei Ming used the Twelve Grade Pure World White Lotus to purify Changbai Mountain’s Ancestral Vein, received Heavenly Dao Merit, and accepted Han Chi as his disciple and guardian of the mountain.
- After leaving Han Chi in charge, Bei Ming traveled south as Di Jun and Tai Yi investigated rumors of his friendship with Ju Mang and sought powerful allies.
- Bei Ming visited Fuxi and Nüwa at Mount Qixi, exchanged Five-Needle Pine cones, and discussed the Dao and the Wu Clan’s strength with them.
- Fuxi and Nüwa asked Bei Ming which side he would support as the Ten Thousand Clans considered uniting, but Bei Ming said he preferred to seek the Dao and visit friends as a free cultivator.
