Background / History

Kakashi was born on September 15 of Konoha Year 37. He enrolled in the Ninja Academy at age four as its top student and entered the same class as Aoba. 154

As the son of Konohagakure’s White Fang, he was widely regarded as an unquestionable prodigy. At the academy, he demonstrated the E-rank Clone Technique by producing numerous lifelike clones throughout the classroom—far beyond the level expected of his peers or many veteran genin. 11

Despite his reputation, Kakashi trained rigorously at Training Ground 11. Might Guy’s discovery of this routine changed Guy’s view of Kakashi, establishing the foundation of their rivalry. 20

After graduating, Kakashi challenged Aoba to a serious spar in the Forest of Death. He matched Aoba closely in taijutsu through agility and exceptional combat instinct, but his lesser strength and stamina became decisive weaknesses.
