History
Before Great Chu was established, the martial world was dominated by sects, gangs, and aristocratic martial families. Zhao Yingchun abandoned his martial-family status to follow Taizu during the period of internal and external turmoil that preceded Great Chu's founding. 49
Zhao Yingchun later helped establish the Martial Artist Association and became a pioneer of Great Chu's martial arts era. Through the Tianshan Reform, he challenged sectarian and clan-based martial inheritance, replacing it with a university system and combining martial arts with technology to develop the modern Qi-Blood Martial Dao. 48 49
Martial Arts and Education
Great Chu's mainstream cultivation system is the Qi-Blood Martial Dao, regarded as the fastest method of strengthening oneself for Blue Star physiques. Other cultivation paths are studied to prepare practitioners for the fifth-stage path of Hearing the Dao and to raise martial arts' long-term ceiling, rather than replace Qi-Blood cultivation. 667
The state officially classifies human Traits into three major systems. 158
- Major martial arts universities mobilize against Demon Nest crises and serve as a key part of national defense. 232
- Great Chu combines martial training with modern technology, a principle established during the Tianshan Reform. 49
- City Intelligent Brains support military use, city defense, martial-arts entrance examinations, and urban administration systems such as Skynet and the Sky Canopy. 678
- The nation hosts major martial competitions, including the River Gathering—its foremost contest for determining the strongest Martial Artist below the Great Sage realm—and the World Youth Championship at Phoenix Nest. 426 696
National Power and Security
Great Chu is described as peaceful and prosperous, with a level of stability among the best in the world. Violent incidents and Demonic Path activity are generally suppressed quickly, though the Demonic Path cannot be wholly eradicated while Demon Nests and the temptation of shortcut-based power remain. 28 91
During the Qi-Blood Martial Dao era, Great Chu is regarded as the world's foremost martial arts power, possessing the largest number of Seventh Great Limit experts. 484
Demon Nest Response
A surge of Demon Nest unrest led Great Chu's major universities to mobilize nationwide. One Level Three Demon Nest incident in western Hunan caused more than ten thousand deaths and displaced hundreds of thousands before Emei Martial University's principal killed its thousand-year Corpse King. 232
In response to later Demon Nest riots, Great Chu began relocating residents of small towns within one hundred kilometers of Demon Nests into expanded major cities. It also upgraded city defenses, assigning Fifth Limit Venerables to garrison major cities such as Yong'an. 629
Military Strength
Great Chu can assemble nearly ten thousand Grandmasters into a nine-palace military formation aligned with yin-yang, the Five Elements, mountains, rivers, and the Big Dipper. 621
- Beaconfire Great Sage Tu Qianshan served as the formation's central eye during the Mountain Whisper campaign, linking soldiers through a vast blood-and-qi network. 622
- The Four Guardians are Great Chu's foremost military and political leaders across its four regions. 629
- The Diamond Dragon Medal is second only to the Supreme Pillar of the Nation, an honor associated with Seven-Limit Great Sages. 361
International Affairs
Great Chu convened a Global Martial Arts Summit amid escalating Demon Nest unrest and the activity of cosmic gods and their sects. Its invitation stated that anti-universe allies from the Cosmic Dao Domain, already in friendly diplomatic contact with Great Chu, would attend. 675
The nation established stable contact and deep cooperation with the Dragon Kingdom, obtaining advanced resources, technology, cultivation knowledge, spiritual-space methods, Intelligent Brain improvements, and forging techniques. 721
Great Chu promotes human unity against cosmic threats. Its proposed Human Alliance sought to combine humanity's strengths, avoid unnecessary conflict between cultivation systems, and ultimately purge Demonic Path forces and human traitors. 708
- Great Chu hosted the World Youth Championship, gathering five thousand elite young competitors from around the world at Phoenix Nest. 696 697
- Its competition organizers aimed for an average global online audience of five billion viewers, with Great Chu expected to account for one-third of that total. 691
- Great Chu later became one of the Human Alliance's strongest powers, while Meng Chuan described the alliance as humanity's principal force resisting cosmic invasion. 834
