At the main gate of Judicial Island, nearly a hundred men were standing guard.

"Hey, what's that thing in the distance?!" a Marine asked, pointing ahead in confusion.

"What?"

"Can't you see that thing over there?"

"It's pitch black. How am I supposed to see anything? You're probably seeing things." His companion rolled his eyes. "Enough nonsense. Chief Spandam ordered us to guard the main gate. Don't let your guard down."

The massive Water Dragon slammed violently into the ground, engulfing the Marines below within its impact range.

Only the Marines standing on higher ground survived, but there were only a few of them.
