Kagura uncovered Hiruko’s hunt for his students, rescued them, and defeated the rogue ninja before returning to Konoha. At New Year’s, Kushina was abducted by Kumogakure shinobi, but Minato rescued her and Kagura exposed and captured Aburame Ryūma, leaving Team 7 reunited for dinner.

• Kagura presented the Kazekage’s reply in Sunagakure, but after Pakura vanished, Chiyo accused him and detained him while his students returned to Konoha.
• Kagura escaped Sunagakure and reached Minato, Kushina, and Hiashi as Hiruko attacked them for their Bloodline Limits.
• Kagura fought Hiruko with his Tailed Beasts and defeated him, then returned to Konoha with his students and gave Hiruko’s corpse to Orochimaru for research.
• Team 7 grew stronger and gathered at Kagura’s home for New Year’s Eve, but Kushina failed to arrive and Kagura sent Tsunade to alert the Hokage.
• Minato followed Kushina’s red hair to the kidnappers, defeated the Kumogakure Genin, and rescued her while Kagura questioned and killed their Jonin contact.
• Kagura confronted Aburame Ryūma, uncovered his role in the kidnapping plot, and defeated him after using Time Regression to escape the Kikaichū swarm.
• Kagura brought the unconscious Ryūma to Hiruzen Sarutobi, then returned home to find Kushina reunited with Minato and Hiashi as Team 7 began dinner.

Kagura helped launch the Joint Chunin Exam, where Minato and the other examinees passed a series of tests and reached the final stage. As the Five Kage gathered for the finals, Danzo and Hanzo secured the Six-Tails, while Akatsuki confronted Roshi for the Four-Tails.

• Hiashi killed the Iwagakure Chunin who had kidnapped the village head’s daughter, and Minato received Kagura’s message to finish the mission and return for the exam.
• Orochimaru showed Kagura an Artificial Human created from Kagura’s cells, and Kagura named the baby Yamato and ordered Orochimaru to report the creation to Hiruzen Sarutobi.
• Jiraiya returned to Konoha, and Kagura recruited him to help with the village’s work and prepare a Mount Myōboku Summoning Contract for Minato, and Tsunade then confirmed she was pregnant.
• Kagura welcomed the visiting villages’ teams and opened the Chunin Exam, whose second assessment required the examinees to cooperate against him to obtain the limited scrolls.
• Minato and Rasa united Genin from several villages to attack Kagura, while Rasa stole the scrolls, and Kagura declared the survivors passed and sent them into individual tower trials.
• Minato, Kushina, Hiashi, Sasori, and other examinees passed their trials, and the examiners announced that thirty-two candidates would compete in the final stage before the Five Kage.
• During the final exam gathering, Danzo, Hanzo, and White Zetsu Obito broke a seal in the Land of Water and secured the Six-Tails.
• Juzō Biwa, Suikazan Fuguki, and Kakuzu confronted Roshi in the Land of Grass, and Roshi activated Lava Release Chakra Mode as they prepared to fight over the Four-Tails.

Kagura helped Minato win the Chunin Exam, started a family with Tsunade, and guided Kushina through becoming the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki. After balancing childcare with missions, he learned that Konoha’s leaders had sabotaged Hatake Sakumo’s mission to stop him from becoming Hokage.

• Roshi was captured after Akatsuki countered his abilities and defeated him as the Four-Tails, and Uchiha Madara learned that only three Tailed Beasts remained.
• At the Chunin Final Exam, Sasori won the opening match without killing his opponent, and Minato defeated Rasa with the Rasengan before Kagura’s Team 7 students became Chunin.
• Kagura and Tsunade welcomed their son Uchiha Qianyu, and Kagura also took responsibility for caring for Yamato while Jiraiya traveled.
• Kagura helped Hiruzen Sarutobi and the other leaders seal Kurama inside Kushina, while Uzumaki Mito died and Minato vowed to protect Kushina.
• Kagura brought Yamato and Qianyu along to recover the stolen Five Ninja Swords from a Kirigakure Chunin, then returned safely with the swords.
• Jiraiya visited Kagura’s family, discussed his plans for Yamato and his trip to see Yahiko and Konan, and joined Kagura in congratulating Kakashi on graduating.
• Kagura received a System Mission to rescue Hatake Sakumo and prevent his suicide, then confronted Konoha’s leaders after discovering they had hidden intelligence to make Sakumo fail and block his path to becoming Hokage.

Kagura rescued Sakumo’s team from Madara’s Infinite Tsukuyomi, then returned to family life as Qianyu awakened his Sharingan and tensions rose around Kumogakure. After Kumogakure’s envoys abducted Hiashi, Kagura intervened, and the two villages preserved their Peace Accord despite Washinoichi’s death.

• Kagura gathered Minato and Hiashi and traveled to the Land of Earth to rescue Sakumo’s team from Madara’s Infinite Tsukuyomi.
• Kagura rejected Madara’s illusion, freed Sakumo and the others, and returned with them to Konoha.
• Kagura reached the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, while Orochimaru revealed his Living Corpse Reincarnation technique and Kagura refused to learn it.
• Kagura discovered that Qianyu had awakened the Sharingan and taught him ninjutsu, but Tsunade punched Kagura after their practice burned the garden.
• Kagura received Hiruzen’s order to monitor Kumogakure’s envoys, who signed a Peace Accord and then left Konoha with Hiashi hidden in a disguised Puppet.
• Hiashi escaped the Puppet and fought Washinoichi’s group, while Kagura stopped the Kumogakure Jonin and claimed responsibility for Washinoichi’s death.
• Kagura let the surviving Puppet Master return the Peace Accord to Kumogakure, and the Raikage later confirmed that his village would honor it.
