Chapter Summaries

Bai Xiaowen destroyed the southeastern altar and learned that its larvae were meant to erase the memories of transformed slaves. After rescuing sailors and rallying them with his identity as Prophet Dio, he sent them to join Qiao Rui and Li Shuyi as he continued his plan to dismantle the outer altars before confronting Naitu lu.

• Bai Xiaowen considered how Rageclaw's Well-Trained skill gained attributes based on the specialty and level of defeated bosses, then ordered his summons to destroy the altar and planned to attack the outer altars first.
• Bai Xiaowen found Mind-Eater Demon Larvae beneath the altar and learned from Sasha that they would erase the memories of future Vogata Slave Warriors.
• Bai Xiaowen learned that Captain Julian and the first mate had been taken to the center of the Sacrificial District, then encouraged the rescued sailors by revealing himself as Prophet Dio and promising to take them home.

Bai Xiaowen defeated Polba and learned that Priest Naitu lu had abandoned the hidden great altar to capture him for the Grand Overlord. Naitu lu arrived in War Form and began overwhelming Bai Xiaowen’s forces, leaving Han Xu knocked aside and Bai Xiaowen exposed to his charge.

• Bai Xiaowen’s Overawing Presence stopped Polba and the Snakefolk while summoned soldiers interrupted Polba’s attempt to cast another Thunderstorm, and Han Xu’s forces surrounded General Korni.
• The Falcon Spirit signaled that the greatest threat in the area had arrived, and Bai Xiaowen identified him as Priest Naitu lu before killing Polba with Scorching End and Flame Burst.
• Naitu lu arrived in War Form, rescued Korni with a spear throw, and revealed that he wanted to capture Bai Xiaowen and deliver him to the Grand Overlord.

Bai Xiaowen chose to preserve a weakened Mutated Heart-Eater for further study and gathered his group at the Wogata underwater port. After learning the Bonus Archipelago had once been the Bonus Mountains, he proposed going there to join the Human Allied Forces and return to land.
