Background / History
Tang San arrives at Nuoding Academy with Blue Silver Grass and innate full Soul Power. At the academy gate, he violently confronts a guard and readies a Silent Sleeve Arrow over a minor dispute before Yu Xiaogang intervenes and takes him in. His first encounter with Su Ze establishes their rivalry. 1
After Su Ze insults Yu Xiaogang’s theories, Tang San challenges him to defend his teacher’s reputation. In the ensuing duel, Blue Silver Grass’s Entangle is burned away by Su Ze’s lightning; Tang San is defeated, and Su Ze takes his Twenty-Four Bridges Moonlit Night storage Soul Tool. 10 11 12
Seeking to overtake Su Ze, Tang San and Xiao Wu pursue revenge after graduating. Tang Hao later brings him to the Blue Silver Forest to force an early Blue Silver Emperor awakening, but the Blue Silver King turns against them. Tang San’s Blue Silver Grass is severely injured, and Tang Hao’s revelation that Tang San’s mother’s relics were lost further strains their relationship. 41 56 57
Tang San abandons Blue Silver Grass’s former evolutionary potential, makes the Clear Sky Hammer his primary Martial Soul, and reaches Soul King. During the All-Continent Advanced Soul Master Elite Tournament, he again wagers against Su Ze; Shrek loses, Tang San’s Blue Silver Grass is shattered again, and Su Ze forces both Tang San and Yu Xiaogang to kneel publicly. His Clear Sky Hammer subsequently cracks as his mentality collapses. 58 60 61
He enters the City of Slaughter, where he absorbs blood and souls from corpses to strengthen himself and accumulates 68 victories in the Hell Slaughter Arena. A mysterious woman from the Above God Realm offers him an opportunity to inherit Godhood in exchange for revenge and power. 103
After returning to the Clear Sky Sect with Tang Yuehua, Tang San’s blood-red Blue Silver Grass, mutated Clear Sky Hammer, and evil aura lead to accusations that he is an Evil Soul Master. He confronts Su Ze again, loses despite displaying Twin Martial Souls and using Explode Ring, and is later deceived into surrendering the Explode Ring Secret Technique. 108 112 114 117
Tang San later returns to Shrek Academy as an Asura God inheritor and wielder of the Asura Divine Sword. He again uses Explode Ring against Su Ze, temporarily reaching Level 94, but Di Tian takes the divine sword and defeats him. His exposure as an Evil Soul Master subsequently makes him a wanted figure across the continent. 122 127 130
