Yu Xiaogang is the son of Yu Yuanzhen, patriarch of the Blue Electric Tyrant Dragon Clan. Despite this lineage, he possesses the Martial Soul Luo San Pao and remains at Level 29, leaving his theories without broad recognition and making him a source of embarrassment to his father. 1 5 51

At Nuoding Academy, Yu Xiaogang intervenes when Tang San confronts a guard, recognizes Tang San's Twin Martial Souls, and takes him in as a disciple. Tang San becomes Yu Xiaogang's central hope for proving his Martial Soul theories and restoring his own reputation. 1 3 6

After learning that Su Ze has Innate Full Soul Power and an unknown Lightning-Attribute Martial Soul, Yu Xiaogang eagerly seeks him out as another potential proof of his theories.
