Background / History

Tang Hao appears after Tang San’s first defeat by Su Ze at Nuoding Academy. Rather than retaliate directly, he tells Yu Xiaogang to treat Su Ze as Tang San’s “whetstone,” then leaves Tang San in Yu Xiaogang’s care. He believes Tang San’s Twin Martial Souls and Clear Sky Hammer will ultimately surpass Su Ze. 13

When Tang San begins doubting Blue Silver Grass, Tang Hao harshly reprimands him for scorning the Martial Soul left by Ah Yin. He reveals that Tang San’s Blue Silver Grass has a special bloodline capable of evolving into the Blue Silver Emperor. After the Blue Silver King wounds Tang San, Tang Hao kills it and attempts to save his son through Ah Yin’s soul bone and the Blue Silver King’s bloodline. 52 57

Tang Hao’s hostility toward Su Ze escalates during the All Continent Elite Competition. Hidden among the spectators, he decides Su Ze must be eliminated after witnessing his strength. When Su Ze defeats and humiliates Tang San, leaving his Blue Silver Grass destroyed and Clear Sky Hammer cracked, Tang Hao attacks Su Ze with the Clear Sky True Body and an enormous Clear Sky Hammer. Di Tian’s intervention prevents the killing blow and enables Su Ze’s escape. 54 61

Pursued by Spirit Hall after the attack, Tang Hao suffers catastrophic injuries during his escape: both arms are severed, his lower body is crippled, and his Soul Power falls drastically. Unable to pursue revenge personally, he makes Tang San his sole hope for vengeance against Spirit Hall and Su Ze, teaching him the Chaotic Hammer Cape Style and seeking ways to strengthen him. 70 71

Tang Hao later reveals an Evil Soul Master method for devouring other Soul Masters’ life and Soul Power to Tang San, explicitly invoking revenge against Su Ze to push his son toward accepting it. Tang Hao is driven primarily by vengeance. His hatred of Spirit Hall originates in Ah Yin’s fate, but Su Ze becomes an equally central target after defeating Tang San, absorbing Ah Yin’s soul bone, and disrupting Tang Hao’s plans for his son. 61 62 70

His paternal concern is intense but often ruthless. He sees Tang San’s Twin Martial Souls as the foundation of future revenge, prioritizes Tang San’s growth above morality, and supports increasingly dangerous methods when conventional cultivation fails. 57 70 92
