Cloud mist coiled through the air, while gold and jade splendor dazzled the eye.
Haotian sat upright upon the dragon throne, his imperial robes cascading down, his crown towering in majesty.

Golden light and purple light shone together, illuminating the entire Great Hall and every anxious, uneasy face within it.
Below, the heavenly soldiers and generals stood in attendance on either side. There were only a handful of them, their facial expressions pale.
They stared at the Investiture of the Gods List, at the True Spirits rising and sinking upon it, sensing the lingering Sage's Pressure in each one. Their legs went weak, and they did not dare even breathe loudly.
Haotian bowed his head and looked at his own hands.
