Mid-level Plaza, Zaun—
Early in the morning, the local residents saw the Lian Hua Gang arrive once more. As they watched them, their faces were filled with curiosity.
Throughout the entire day yesterday, the Lian Hua Gang had turned Black Alley upside down, and the same had happened at Mid-level Plaza and Dance Hall. Now, they had appeared again today.
Of course, "turning the place upside down" did not mean they had literally flipped Zaun over. In truth, the Lian Hua Gang's actions had not disrupted the local residents or caused them any trouble. It was a little noisy, sure, but only a little. Noise did not seem like much of a problem to Zaunites, anyway.
After all, there were the Alchemical Barons' factories that rumbled endlessly, and Addicts high on Shimmer. The commotion they made was far louder than the Lian Hua Gang's search for someone.
Because of that, quite a few Zaun residents were curious—and some even wanted to help the Lian Hua Gang.
Sevika stood in the street, directing the group's movements.
"You lot, head this way! Check the area by the canals. Someone might be hiding there!"
"Vi, take some people to Broken Gorge. There aren't many people there, so search carefully."
"Scar, please lead people to inspect from the air. Check every location marked on this map."
Sevika truly deserved her reputation as Silco's capable right-hand woman. The moment the group had assembled, she swiftly issued orders and assigned everyone their tasks.
Still, this was not her first time doing such work. Back when she served under Silco, she had often been responsible for directing manpower. Silco had given her considerable authority—he would usually only assign her a task, then leave it to Sevika to decide how to proceed, how to accomplish it, how many
