Background / History

Amon is the second son of the Creator and Adam’s younger brother. At his presentation before the angels, he is already playful and mischievous: after Medici ruffles his hair, Amon attempts to steal Medici’s Uniqueness and Sequence 1 characteristics, only for Sasrir to stop him. 84

He becomes Truman’s student, treating the Angel of Dreams as a source of answers and protection while repeatedly testing his limits. During their exploration of outer-deity ruins, Amon shows interest in stealing forbidden knowledge but retreats when the danger exceeds his ability to handle it. 94 96 98 99

Amon later joins Adam’s schemes against Medici. By stealing Sauron’s fate and accepting Adam’s hypnosis, he impersonates Sauron long enough to pierce Medici through the heart, seize Medici’s Conqueror characteristic, and take the Red Priest Uniqueness. 164

Appearance

Amon commonly appears as a refined man in dark formal clothing or classical mage robes. His crystal monocle over the right eye is his most recognizable feature. 414 418

His playfulness conceals exceptional patience and calculation. He waits for opportunities, exploits incomplete information, and treats deception as both a practical weapon and a source of amusement. His manipulation of Klein’s unstable condition nearly triggers the awakening of the Lord of the Mysteries within Klein. 522 555

Amon is also deeply self-interested. He assists Antigonus against Klein not out of loyalty, but because he considers Klein’s complete control of Sefirah Castle a worse outcome than allowing Antigonus time to prepare. 555

Backlund Hunt

Amon manipulates William Augustus’s godhood ritual, steals the required Sequence 1 characteristic, and ascends to the Error position. His birth as Error causes global mistakes and briefly halts the divine war. 521 522

Struggle for Sefirah Castle

Amon interferes in Klein and Antigonus’s contest for Sefirah Castle, seeking to prevent Klein from becoming a True God with complete control of the castle. He later joins Bethel in challenging Klein, but Klein and Bethel form a genuine alliance against him. 555 566 567

Defeat

Klein and Bethel seal and attack Amon together within Sefirah Castle. Amon escapes with two Worm of Time portions but leaves the Error Uniqueness behind, then acknowledges his defeat before Sasrir. 569 570
