It was a box sitting on a table in the corner of the room.

The box was long and rectangular, and the object inside was clearly long as well.

Leo had every reason to believe that it contained a sword—or rather, a weapon that would soon belong to him.

Seeing Leo staring intently at the long box, Loki immediately broke into giggles.

"Look at you, so impatient. Why don't you hurry over and take a look?"

That was as good as admitting what was inside the box.

Leo immediately stepped forward, reached out, and picked up the long box from the table.

It was not light—in fact, it was rather heavy. Even a sturdy dwarf would likely need to exert all his strength to lift it, yet Leo, a first-class Lv. 5 adventurer, could effortlessly pick it up with one hand.

Then Leo opened the box, finally exposing the weapon within to the air and his sight.

The first thing that entered Leo's vision was a dazzling platinum gleam.

It was an exceptionally brilliant platinum color, as though it could pierce the darkness. From the instant it appeared, it was destined to become the brightest thing in the room, making Leo unconsciously narrow his eyes.

Only then did the weapon in the box fully enter his sight, allowing Leo to take in its complete appearance.

It rested upon a layer of padding inside the box. The sword and sheath had been separated and placed one above the other, leaving the bright blade completely uncovered as it entered Leo's vision.
