Background / History

Ais entered the Loki Familia as a child after losing the people closest to her. In her early years, grief, hatred of monsters, and a desire for strength made her dangerously reckless: she fought as though throwing away her life and activated [Avenger] without restraint. Finn, Riveria, Gareth, and her companions gradually helped her become less isolated and self-destructive 374.

Her origins were closely guarded by Loki, Finn, Riveria, and Gareth. During the conflict involving Revis and the Dungeon's abnormal monsters, Leo connected Ais's wind magic, the name “Aria,” and the name Wallenstein to conclude that she possessed the bloodline of the great wind spirit Aria and the hero Albert. The revelation left Ais deeply unsettled, fearing that others would see her differently 366 367.

A year before Leo became an adventurer, Ais rescued him from the Dungeon and recommended him to the Loki Familia. She later became his principal swordsmanship instructor, sparring with him each morning and correcting his combat habits through direct practice 233 257.

Ais accompanies Leo during his solo challenge against Goliath as his safeguard, agreeing to intervene only if his life is truly endangered 281. During the Loki Familia expedition, she uses [Ariel] against the worm-monster swarm and later remains behind with Leo to cover the Familia's retreat from a female-bodied monster 306 310.

Udaeus and Lv.6 Advancement

Ais joins Leo against Udaeus after he is badly injured. Despite suffering severe wounds herself, she fights beside him while Tiona, Tione, and Lefiya contain the summoned Earthborn 340. Their victory over the 37th Floor boss provides the achievement Ais needs to finally reach Lv.6 343.
