An Ever-Present Crisis

"Dragon Pot," as the name implies, is a pot-hole for dragons—a domain of dragons.

The seven floors from the 52nd to the 58th are all referred to as such. This is, of course, not just because of the massive Red Dragon currently aiming from the 58th floor and viciously spitting out enormous fireballs.

Besides the Cannon Dragon, there is another type of dragon species in this domain: the Evil Wyvern.

These are wyvern-type monsters that grow over three meters long, including their tails, and possess the ability to fly, just as their name suggests.

These purplish-blue flying dragons use the vertical shafts carved out by the fireballs of the Cannon Dragons to fly in from the floors below and ambush adventurers. In other words, these monsters also possess the characteristic of ignoring floor boundaries, and their strength far exceeds that of the monsters on the 52nd floor.

The Evil Wyverns and the Valgang Dragons—the purplish-blue flying dragons and the crimson Cannon Dragons—are the reason why the 52nd to 58th floors are called the "Dragon Pot."

"Roar!!!"

Accompanied by a clear, ear-shattering roar, purplish-blue magic dragons flapping their wings flew out one after another from the horizontal shafts that connected to the red-hot vertical shafts like an anthill. With malevolent glints in their eyes, they launched an assault on the expedition team sprinting through the 52nd floor. Most of them came from the 56th and 57th floors, where horizontal shafts existed; the Evil Wyverns emerged from there, carried a vicious aura, flew through the vertical shafts like locusts, and arrived at the 52nd floor.

"Riveria!"

Seeing this, Finn called out to the Elven royalty in the rear.

"[O Wood Spirit—fulfill my desire, O Forest Garment—I am Alf.]"
