"Leo! Ais! We're here!"
"...Looks like we're a little late!"
As Ais landed on the ground, wrapped in wind, two identical Amazonian girls leaped out from the vertical shaft. They didn't look like they were charging into a battlefield, but rather a playground, arriving at Ais's side one after the other.
"Tiona, Tione."
Ais held Desperate, glancing at her familiar companions and calling out softly.
"Miss Ais! Are you alright?!"
Lefiya was held in Tione's arms. The lingering glow on the magic gem atop her staff told everyone exactly who had cast the magic just moments ago.
Yet, the elven girl seemed completely unaware that she had just performed a major feat. She jumped out of Tione's arms with an eager expression and ran to Ais's side, chattering away with questions.
"Where is Mr. Leo? Where did Mr. Leo go?!"
Lefiya was still searching for Leo. Seeing that he wasn't by Ais's side, her pretty face turned pale instantly.
"D-don't tell me he already...?!"
Before she could finish her sentence, she was interrupted by a comet streaking in from the horizon.
"Already what? Can't you wish for something better for me?"
Leo appeared from the dissipating starlight barrier, walking toward Lefiya while speaking in an annoyed tone.
In the past, Lefiya would never have given him a pleasant look at a time like this. She would have snorted, turned her head away to ignore him, or simply unleashed a barrage of complaints with a dark expression, as if venting her usual dissatisfaction.
This social butterfly of an elf was outgoing and cheerful with others, and obedient, sensible, and nervous when facing senior members like Ais. But she never gave Leo a good look, especially after he accidentally saw her in the Divine Room last time. Her
