Holding a parchment recording his ability values, Leo sat with a flashing red clown inscription behind him.

Bare-chested, Leo sat before Loki with his back to her, murmuring softly.

Although he had more or less anticipated it before updating his ability values—after all, he had overcome perilous situations, defeated unimaginable foes, and gone through a true adventure during this expedition—Leo still felt relieved when his level-up was confirmed. His efforts had not been in vain, nor had his desperate struggles. His [People of the Alien Star] had continued to perform steadily even now, living up to his expectations, bringing him unimaginable growth, and granting him unexpected gains.

Putting the level-up aside, the fact that all his basic abilities had once again reached SSS, while every development ability had improved substantially, was enough to put Leo in a good mood.

The development abilities were especially noteworthy. They were universally acknowledged as the hardest abilities to improve, yet during this expedition, not only had all of Leo's development abilities risen, but every magic-related one had advanced by two stages at once. The improvement was truly enormous.

"Magic," "Magic Attack," and "Mind Healing"—all three of these development abilities had advanced by two stages during this ability-value update. If word of this got out, it would surely shock and envy many people.

Take "Magic," for example. Even Riveria, the city's strongest mage, had only trained it to E. Leo, however, had raised it to D—one stage higher than his own mentor. That alone showed how astonishing his improvement had been.

Yet, on closer thought, it was actually quite reasonable.

After all, throughout the expedition, Leo had conscientiously remained in the rear guard position, providing long-range support from behind as a mage. He had done the same during the return journey. One could imagine
