When Frost was carried off on a stretcher, the entire stands of Universe 6 were completely silent.
Cabba sat there, his hands gripping his knees tightly, his knuckles white.
He had followed Frost for many years, regarding him as the pride of the Universe 6. The fact that the being he willingly called "the adult" turned out to be a fraud shattered his mental state.
The other warriors from Universe 6 standing nearby had complex expressions; some sighed, while others turned their heads away, unable to bear watching any longer.
Beerus sneered, "Serves you right. You've been pretending to be a good person right under my nose, aren't you ashamed?"
Champa turned his head sharply, glared at Beerus, but had nothing to say.
Beerus leaned back in his chair, flicking his tail slightly. "What? Did I misspoke?"
"You can't even manage your own subordinates, and after such a disgraceful incident, you still have the nerve to glare at me?"
Champa was so angry that he trembled and had no way to refute it. He could only suppress his anger and glare fiercely in the direction Frost had left.
"You just wait, when we get back and nobody's around, I'll destroy you!"
In the stands of Universe 7, Goku's facial expression relaxed.
"I knew it! I always felt there was something off about that Frost."
How could someone like Frieza suddenly appear as a super-good guy?
This is just right!
Son Mirai asked, "What do you call this 'just right'?"
Goku grinned. "Think about it, Frieza is treacherous and ruthless, and then suddenly someone who looks exactly like him appears and goes around doing good deeds?"
I always felt it wasn't real.
Now that he's shown his true colors, I don't feel like a stranger to him anymore.
Son Mirai nodded. "Yes, speaking of which, it's still the King's pure evil that's more palatable."
Krillin, hands on his hips, said, "He almost fooled me too; his acting is superb."
Vegeta snorted and shone his light on the ongoing cleanup work on the arena. The arena was quite damaged after his brutal beating of Frost, and Vados was repairing it with magic.
However, after repairing the arena, Vados gently tapped her staff, and a transparent light curtain rose from around the arena, quickly closing at the top to form a semi-transparent sealed cover that enveloped the entire arena.
It's like a giant inverted bowl, completely separating the inside from the outside of the ring.
Vados retrieved her staff and turned to Champa, saying, " Lord Champa, the protective barrier has been installed."
"If I had more time, I could make it more solid."
Champa waved his hand impatiently and said, "That's enough, let's start the next match!"
Vados bowed slightly, said no more, and retreated behind Champa.
Vegeta glanced at the barrier, his brow furrowing slightly. "If you're going to build a ring, just build a ring. What's with this barrier?!"
However, Vegeta had absolute confidence in his own strength.
His Super Saiyan is enough to deal with someone like Frost, but he has far more trump cards up his sleeve.
It's just a cover, what can it change?
The referee cleared his throat and announced loudly, "Next match: Universe 6's Magetta versus Universe 7's Vegeta!"
Heavy footsteps echoed from the passageway on the other side of the arena.
Thump----thump----thump----
Each step felt like metal striking the ground, dull yet powerful.
Magetta emerged from the passageway.
Like a giant robot made entirely of metal, his body was a dark silver-gray, with gears and pistons at his joints, and his eyes were two dim yellow lights. He exuded a rugged sense of the industrial age.
His size was enormous, more than twice the height of an average person, and the arena floor trembled slightly with every step he took.
Vegeta looked up at the enormous creature, a smirk playing on his lips. "How can it fight robots?"
The Supreme Kai of Universe 6 said, "These aren't robots, but Metalman from the galaxy. Your universe should also have this race."
Old Kai looked at Shin and asked, "Is there?"
Xin scratched his head: "I think so----"
"Hmph, learn more. As Supreme Kai, you know nothing—"
The referee raised his hand and gave the order, "The match begins!"
Vegeta instantly unleashed a burst of white flames and delivered a powerful punch to Magetta's head.
"When!"
The clanging of metal against metal was deafening, and sparks flew everywhere.
Vegeta's fist went numb, while Magetta merely tilted his head forward slightly.
Vegeta quickly withdrew his fist and blew on it forcefully.
"Wow, this thing is so hard!"
In the blink of an eye, Magetta's huge fist slammed towards Vegeta.
Vegeta, even without transforming, remained agile.
He quickly dodged and then used his speed to launch a series of attacks on Magetta's body.
However, despite being made entirely of metal, he only made clanging sounds and showed no signs of injury.
Instead, it made Vegeta's fist hurt terribly.
"What the hell is this thing's hardness?"
Vegeta took a few steps back, shook his reddened fist, and saw fine beads of sweat on his forehead.
At that moment, Magetta punched Vegeta, Vegeta staggered back and rubbed his head to ease the pain.
They nearly bumped into the cover made by Vados behind them.
Champa immediately warned, "If your body touches the cover, you'll lose!"
Vegeta immediately moved away from the vicinity of the barrier.
Beerus roared, "What are you doing, Champa? How can there be such a rule?"
Champa whistled and said, "This is my territory, I'm in charge!"
"You----"
"It's fair to both sides anyway, why are you in such a hurry?"
Beerus snorted coldly, "Hmph, unable to beat us, they resort to these petty tricks. How boring!"
As Magetta continued to spew out lava, the temperature on the arena was rising rapidly, and the heatwave was completely contained by the shield of Vados.
Vegeta's breathing became heavy, and sweat slid down his cheeks, evaporating as soon as it hit the ground.
Vegeta tried various angles and forces, even attempting to attack Magetta's joints, in an attempt to find a weakness.
But Magetta's body was a single, seamless structure; his joints remained perfectly still during the fight, leaving him with no openings to exploit.
"Damn it, I can't do anything with this metal lump—" Vegeta gritted his teeth.
Magetta also began to fight back.
Vegeta's vision began to blur, and his body felt like it had been thrown into a sauna, with sweat pouring from every pore.
"No—this won't do—"
Vegeta gritted his teeth, retreated to the edge of the ring, and rested one hand on his knee to catch his breath.
Magetta caught up with them again.
Enraged, Vegeta immediately transformed into Super Saiyan and launched a fierce attack on Magetta, yelling, "Damn it—how could I, the mighty Vegeta, lose to a piece of junk like this?!"
Upon hearing this, Magetta's momentum instantly weakened, and his toughness diminished.
Vegeta was already driven to the brink of madness by Magetta, so he didn't notice anything amiss and even wanted to smash him to pieces despite the pain in his fists.
"You damned tin can, you piece of junk, you piece of scrap metal!"
To everyone's astonishment, under Vegeta's Prince Tactics, Magetta's massive metal body collapsed with a crash, slamming onto the arena floor.
The ring collapsed, Magetta fell to the ground.
Son Mirai noticed tears streaming down Magetta's face; he had been mentally broken down before he was defeated.
Vegeta was dumbfounded when he saw this.
What happened?
How did my punch, which was ineffective just now, suddenly become so effective?
There wasn't a single scratch even after being hit!
Vegeta thought to himself: He seems unresponsive, but is he actually afraid of pain too?
The referee looked up, an incredulous expression on his face, and announced, " Magetta has fallen out of the ring? Vegeta wins!"
The entire audience erupted in cheers.
"What happened? Why did that robot suddenly lose its momentum?"
Whis laughed, " Metalman are emotionally fragile. Vegeta's rant hurt him, which is why Vegeta's attack worked."
"What? Is that really the case?"
Master Roshi stroked his beard and said, " The Saiyan Prince won the match by swearing? Tsk tsk tsk, that's jaw-dropping!"
Vegeta hadn't expected to win this way either.
He wiped the sweat from his brow and said, "Although I don't understand, at least I won—"
