Background / History

Tang San arrived at Nuoding Academy with Old Jack. The gatekeeper refused to believe that Blue Silver Grass could possess Innate Full Soul Power, leading to a confrontation that drew Yu Xiaogang's intervention. 5 6

At the academy, he fought Wang Sheng for leadership of Dorm Seven and defeated him, despite having no personal interest in becoming dorm boss. He later fought Xiao Wu while consciously holding back out of concern that he might injure her; Xiao Wu defeated him. 6 7

Lin Li regarded the young Tang San as emotionally stunted, socially inexperienced, and overly reliant on the Tang Sect Manual when dealing with unfamiliar situations. Tang San was also prepared to act violently without considering the consequences for himself or Old Jack. 6

After Ah Yin's death and the theft of her Spirit Bone were revealed, Tang San vowed revenge. He came to suspect Lin Li of involvement and shared that suspicion with Tang Hao, who chose to act against Lin Li. 120 121

Lin Li later revealed Tang San's Twin Martial Souls and informed him that Tang Hao had been killed. Tang San was left under Titan's guidance to cultivate, under threat that the Strength Clan would suffer if he failed to reach the Soul Emperor realm by Lin Li's next inspection. 127 130

Tang San is devoted to his family and companions. His concern for Tang Hao drives him to seek assistance, while his determination to protect Xiao Wu repeatedly places him in danger. 82 141

He is capable of analytical planning, particularly when investigating Lin Li's connection to Ah Yin's Spirit Bone. However, his suspicion hardens into hostility before he has proof; he resolves that Lin Li should not be allowed to escape consequences even if his conclusion is mistaken. 121

He can endure humiliation and loss without immediately lashing out. After Lin Li destroys his Hidden Weapons, Tang San restrains his anger and turns the incident into motivation to become stronger. 129

Shrek's Collapse

Xiao Wu's Death

When Yue Guan captures Xiao Wu after her identity as a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soft Bone Rabbit is exposed, Tang San tries and fails to stop him. 141

Tang San offers to serve Lin Li in exchange for Xiao Wu's safety. Xiao Wu attempts a Soul Sacrifice to save him, but Lin Li interrupts and kills her. Tang San later extracts her Spirit Bone himself and considers becoming a Fallen Soul Master to obtain power more quickly. 143 144
