Under the moonlight, endless dunes stretched silently across the land as the howling wind swept by, raising veils of hazy yellow sand.

Hanfu looked out at the forest. Everywhere he looked, he saw thick trees that would take four or five people to encircle and stood over twenty meters tall. They were packed so tightly together that they completely blocked his view!

He leaped onto the crown of the nearest tree and looked around. His gaze grew increasingly distant, and he couldn't help praising it softly. "Even if the First Hokage came back to life, he couldn't do better than this. What kind of monstrously powerful shinobi could use Wood Release to create something so terrifying?"

That's what I'm talking about!

Hanfu silently gave himself a thumbs-up.

"Hey, you made way too much noise!"

The Byakugan Shadow Clone leaped up the tree trunk, looking extremely displeased. "My Byakugan's range is limited. There's no way I can keep an eye on this entire forest!"

"Got it. Let's go." Hanfu waved a hand.

"What about this forest?" the Byakugan Shadow Clone asked.

The forest stretched for dozens of miles and had appeared overnight. Even someone who wasn't a shinobi would connect it to the First Hokage's Wood Release!

Hanfu stroked his chin and pondered for a moment before suddenly smiling. "It's fine. The forest appearing isn't a bad thing."

Years ago, Orochimaru had "conspired" with Takigawa Hyuga to raid Root Headquarters and steal First Hokage Cells. Takigawa Hyuga was with the Abyss, whose very purpose was to study and upgrade various Kekkei Genkai. So it wouldn't be strange for Wood Release to reappear in the Shinobi World.
