Today was Hanfeng's first day as the newly promoted Sixth Division Captain, so naturally he didn't dare slack off. After arriving at Training Ground 6, the impartial judge of loyalty and betrayal immediately brought Shisui over to his side, appointing him Vice-Captain so they could rule the world together!
Then he transformed into a crazed hot-blooded trainer and launched Hell Training, putting his troublesome subordinates through the wringer.
The Hell Training was remarkably effective. By the time the workday ended, everyone except Hanfeng and Shisui—including Tenzo and Itachi Uchiha—could barely stand.
Hanfeng could tell from their eyes just how satisfied they were with the training. He was deeply gratified.
"Everyone, from the first day I met you, I could tell your potential was boundless. Trust me: with my training, you'll reach even greater heights!"

After serving up bowl after bowl of clear, thirst-quenching poison... ahem, clear and detoxifying chicken soup for the soul, Hanfeng's first day as captain came to an official end.
"Shisui, want to have dinner together?" Hanfeng asked.
Shisui glanced at Itachi Uchiha, whose clothes were soaked with sweat, and politely declined.
Hanfeng didn't press him. Under the awestruck, admiring gazes of his subordinates, he sauntered away.
"And this was only the first day..."
"That was brutal..."
"Yeah, it was practically Death Training!"
"I suddenly really want to go on a mission..."
At least they wouldn't have to do more training if they went on a mission.
The supporting cast helped each other along, grumbling as they slowly made their
