The Land of Rice Fields bordered the Land of Iron, so their coastal waters naturally lay close together.

In less than half a day, the ship Uchiha Madara was riding had entered the waters of the Land of Rice Fields.

The sea wind howled and the waves rolled. Uchiha Madara stood on deck, gazing into the distance.

It was not until night began to fall that a black speck appeared to his left.

"Is that the place?"

Uchiha Madara hurriedly told the captain to change course.

About half an hour later, the ship slowly approached the island.

The stars and moon were dim, and Uchiha Madara could not make out what was on the island. He told the captain to stop there, then kindly robbed the captain and sailors of all their money so they wouldn't abandon him and run off.

The captain and the sailors watched Uchiha Madara leap into the sea. At last, their aggrieved faces gave way to anger, and they all began cursing him.

"That bastard ninja!"

"I'd love to beat him up!"

"He took back all the money he'd paid us!"

"Damn it!"

"I have a bad feeling we're going to get stiffed for this whole trip. This sucks."

"Everyone, I heard all of that."

Just as the sailors were in the middle of their tirade, a head suddenly appeared over the side of the ship. It stared at them with a hollow gaze. It was Uchiha Madara.

Once, Hanfu had disguised himself as Takigawa Hyuga and sailed to the Land of Whirlpools to dig up the remains of the Uzumaki Clan's ancestors. He had never expected to find the remains only to discover that the ship was gone!

Having learned his lesson, Uchiha Madara was naturally determined to avoid the same mistake. First, he
