After taking a winding route, Hanfu finally reached a steep cliff facing the sea. Jagged rocks and green moss covered the base of the cliff, and beyond them, waves rolled ashore.

Hanfu walked down the cliff and spotted a cave near its base. He blurred into motion and slipped inside.

The cave was small, barely five meters deep, and its end was visible at a glance. Kimimaro lay on the straw at the very back, while Uchiha Nibann leaned against the wall, yawning as he looked at him. "You're here, bro?"

"Who are you calling bro?" Hanfu kicked at him.

Uchiha Nibann quickly dodged aside, making faces as he grinned.

Hanfu couldn't be bothered with him. He went straight to Kimimaro, crouched beside him, and asked, "Is he asleep?"

"He's under my Genjutsu," Uchiha Nibann replied.

In fact, aside from eating Military Ration Pills and drinking water, Uchiha Nibann had kept Kimimaro under Genjutsu the whole time, to prevent him from causing trouble.

Hanfu nodded, then told Uchiha Nibann to lift Kimimaro's eyelids. He formed Hand Seals. "Secret Technique: Mind Reading Technique!"

Guided by Chakra, Hanfu's Spiritual Power quickly transformed into a strange wave and passed into Kimimaro's vacant eyes.

The next instant, a jumble of images seemed to surge before Hanfu. They looked like Kimimaro's memories, but they flashed by too quickly for him to make anything out.
