The sun sank in the west, and a gorgeous band of evening clouds gradually appeared on the horizon, dyeing most of Konoha red. Hanfu paced back and forth in the mansion's backyard, on the heels of youth's red tail, his face thoughtful.

Orochimaru had killed Takigawa Hyuga to prevent him from attacking the Mist Ninja squad led by Ao. That went against Nagato's plan to sow discord between Konoha and Kirigakure. If nothing unexpected happened, once Yuki Kanpyo reported this, the Akatsuki would surely hunt Orochimaru down.

So where would Orochimaru go after leaving the Akatsuki?

Where would he focus his 'career'?

Would he join forces with Kirigakure, or go all-out building Otogakure?

Kirigakure was too far away, with a sea in between. Hanfu couldn't extend his Network Cable that far, but he could try reaching Otogakure.

At that thought, Hanfu immediately entered Sage Mode and followed the Network Cable to the border between the Land of Fire and the Land of Rice Fields.

Then Hanfu took out a map. After confirming the location of the Daimyo Mansion in the Land of Rice Fields, he dashed off, secretly planting Flying Thunder God Stones along the way to extend his Network Cable.

The next morning, Hanfu arrived safely at the Daimyo Mansion in the Land of Rice Fields and began asking about Otogakure's location.

Otogakure had been in the Land of Rice Fields for nearly a year, so the people at the Daimyo Mansion were naturally familiar with it. A kind person immediately pointed out its exact location to Hanfu.

"Thanks." The polite Hanfu thanked him and set off for Otogakure at once.
