The morning classes were all theory. Iruka was droning on at the front of the classroom while Naruto sat in his seat, staring straight ahead... at Sasuke's back, completely ignoring Iruka.

"Naruto!"

Iruka had tried to hold back, but in the end, he couldn't take it anymore. "Stand up!"

Naruto stood up with an innocent look on his face. "Iruka-sensei..."

"Repeat what I just said." Iruka looked at him expressionlessly.

"Well... um..."

Naruto broke into a cold sweat and hurriedly sought help from the students around him with his eyes.

In this life, Naruto's identity as the Son of the Hokage hadn't been deliberately concealed. After several years as classmates, everyone in the class knew his "true identity."

Although Naruto wasn't popular with the girls in class because of his loser vibe, he got along pretty well with the boys.

Naruto thought someone was "feeding him a line," so he repeated it word for word. "Iruka-sensei, you just said, 'Let's all meet up at the Yakiniku Restaurant after school. I've got a coupon for twenty percent off.'"

After saying that, Naruto paused and thought, Iruka-sensei's treating everyone to yakiniku? This... Iruka-sensei really is such a nice guy!

Iruka froze too. What the heck?

A coupon? Twenty percent off? Treating everyone to yakiniku... Did I say that?

As the rest of the class exchanged glances, someone finally couldn't hold back and burst out laughing like a pig.

"Pfft—hahahahahaha..."

Karin clutched her stomach, laughing so hard she slapped the desk. She was beside herself with amusement. Her piglike laughter set off the rest of the class, and soon they were all laughing
