Under the dim yellow lights, Uchiha Madara, clad in a Hooded Black Robe, flickered past like a phantom and sped toward the Anbu Headquarters Building.
Night had fallen, and the enormous Anbu Building was already dark, its lights long extinguished. Under the faint moonlight, it looked even more sinister, like a haunted house.
But Uchiha Madara knew that an Anbu Squad kept watch over the building day and night, and that its defenses were strict.
Unfortunately, to Uchiha Madara, all that was as obvious as a female Husky with her fur shaved off. Every mysterious, unspeakable little detail was laid bare before him!
With a flicker, Uchiha Madara turned into a blur and darted into the building, heading straight for the third floor. Along the way, he encountered several Anbu shinobi lying in wait. Ready for them, he used Sharingan Genjutsu to confuse them and knock them unconscious.
A few minutes later, he reached an Archives Room on the third floor. After sneaking inside, he tiptoed around and rummaged through the files until he found information on "Husky"—his identity, his Mission Log, and Anbu Captain Hawk's evaluation of him.
After reading everything, Uchiha Madara made a show of tidying things up, then retraced his steps and left.
Just as he reached the main entrance on the first floor, a firework silently bloomed over the Konoha Gate, bright and glaring against the night sky.
The two Guardian Gods were awake... Noticing the firework, Uchiha Madara smiled faintly, melted into the darkness, and quickly vanished.
At the same time,
the Anbu shinobi keeping watch on the building's various floors emerged from their hiding places.
"It's the signal for a shinobi intrusion!"
"Could it be Cloud Ninja?"
"The signal made no sound, so there are only a few intruders."
As they analyzed the
