On the rooftop of the Ninja Academy's School Building, Namikaze Minato, Hiruzen Sarutobi, Taka, and Hanfu's group of four had gathered around a Crystal Ball, watching it intently.
The Crystal Ball clearly showed the Exam Venue where Naruto and the others were taking their test.
At Hiruzen Sarutobi's command, the image in the Crystal Ball slowly shifted to Naruto.
Beside him, Namikaze Minato immediately looked a little nervous.
All nine questions on this exam were hellishly difficult. Given Naruto's grades, he probably couldn't write a single word beyond his own name.
Fortunately, the purpose of this exam wasn't simply to test the Genin's theoretical knowledge. It also tested their ability to gather intelligence!
That was why two of the more than one hundred candidates were actually Chunin Proctors. They would write down the correct answers during the exam, and the rest was up to the candidates' abilities.
Of course, if you were caught cheating, then sorry, you and your teammates would all be disqualified!
So this written test was still quite difficult!
While Namikaze Minato and the others were focused on the exam itself, Hanfu had simpler interests. He was only interested in the Crystal Ball—or rather, in Hiruzen Sarutobi's "Peeping Technique."
