Background / History

Yun Xian was known publicly as the wife of Hero Shen Tianxing. After Shen Tianxing died while eliminating demons at Chishui Village on their wedding day, she was left to manage the extensive Shen family estate in Taiping City amid rivals seeking to seize it. Despite public assumptions that the estate had been built by her husband, she states that she built the enterprise herself. 3 17

During the Shen Mansion memorial banquet, two Man-Eating Demon Foxes infiltrated the estate. One demon impersonated Madam Shen in mourning clothes, while the real Yun Xian was held unconscious in a side room. Mu Xinghe rescued her and eliminated both demons, saving all 230 people in the mansion. 5 7 8

Suspicious of the unknown Demon Sealer who claimed to have fought beside Shen Tianxing, Yun Xian ordered her Assassin to uncover all information on “Mu Xinghe” within seven days. She subsequently enlisted his aid in investigating the demon attack and gave him access to the Shen Mansion’s resources. 8 17

Yun Xian identified the Feng family as the likely power behind the Iron Leg Sect and its access to Man-Eating Demon Foxes. She recognized that the Feng family sought control of the Shen Mansion’s wealth and later relied on Mu Xinghe to accompany and protect her at Feng Wuque’s banquet. 20 31
