Turles raised an eyebrow slightly as he watched the young man riding a cloud suddenly appear atop the temple.

Dressed in an orange martial arts uniform, sporting the iconic spiky crab-shell hairstyle, and riding a golden, manned cloud, the newcomer's identity was unmistakable. It was Son Goku, who had arrived on the Flying Nimbus after sensing Turles's energy.

Turles hadn't expected Son Goku to seek him out before he had even gone looking for the man himself.

Seeing his childhood idol, Turles couldn't quite describe his current state of mind. He wasn't exactly excited, nor could he call it happy; it felt like nothing but calm.

Son Goku, meanwhile, noticed this man who looked so much like him immediately. His gaze kept drifting toward the tail at Turles's waist—he had once possessed a tail just like that, too.

The two stood there in silence, staring at one another.

Seeing Turles and Son Goku locked in a gaze, the others present couldn't help but let their eyes wander between the two, looking at Turles, then at Son Goku, then back to Turles.

There was no helping it; the two looked far too similar. If not for Turles's slightly darker skin, it wouldn't have been a stretch to call them twins.

However, upon closer inspection, there were significant differences beyond their skin tone.

Turles's temperament leaned toward maturity, and his dark skin gave him a somewhat sinister look at first glance, yet his profound eyes turned that sense of malice into a unique kind of charm.

Son Goku, on the other hand, was like a child who had never grown up. Despite being the same height as Turles, his face still carried a childlike, innocent smile that made people feel at ease.

"Kakarot?"

Raditz spoke up, though his tone was uncertain.

Even with Turles as a precedent, Raditz still found it hard to believe that his younger brother looked so much like his father. If that were the case, what did that make him? Was he adopted?

What made it even more awkward was the presence of Turles, who looked exactly like their father. It was even more embarrassing because Raditz remembered the "Father" he had blurted out the first time he saw Turles.

That was why Raditz was unsure of the newcomer's identity, even though he already knew that the planet Kakarot had been exiled to was the very one beneath their feet.

"Kakarot? Are you talking to me? I'm not Kakarot, my name is Son Goku. Nice to meet you!"

Son Goku's attention was pulled away from Turles by Raditz's voice, and he immediately corrected him.

"Son Goku? You aren't Kakarot either?" Raditz scratched his hair, looking puzzled.

Raditz was completely confused by Son Goku and thought he might have mistaken the person again. After all, Son Goku's tail had long since been removed by Kami and Piccolo, and it hadn't grown back since, so he naturally didn't connect Son Goku with the Saiyans.

"Pfft!" Turles was amused by Raditz's behavior and couldn't help but laugh out loud.

Seeing everyone's eyes turn toward him, Turles suppressed his laughter and spoke slowly, "Son Goku, right? Did you used to have a tail just like ours?"

As he spoke, Turles uncoiled the tail from his waist and flicked it behind him, creating a series of whistling sounds in the air. It was clear that the strength in Turles's tail was not to be underestimated.

"Huh? How did you know? Oh, right, you guys have tails too." Son Goku was stunned for a moment, then clapped his hands and said excitedly to Turles, "Could it be that you're my brother?"

"Cough, cough, cough!" Turles and Raditz were both choked by Son Goku's statement.

Turles was truly defeated by this family of Son Goku's. Raditz called him "Dad" the moment they met, and Son Goku called him "Brother" the moment they met—they were certainly one of a kind.

Turles glanced at Raditz and gave him a look.

Raditz understood the meaning behind Turles's gaze. He gave Turles an awkward smile, then pulled Son Goku aside to explain things to him.

Because of Turles's training, Raditz did not look down on his brother this time. Furthermore, due to Turles's plan to revive the Saiyans, Raditz spoke nothing but good things about Turles to Son Goku.

Raditz also learned from Son Goku why he didn't know his own name was Kakarot.

In the Saiyan upbringing system, Saiyans exiled to remote planets would have memories implanted during infancy. These memories included basic combat experience, their own names, and the mission to invade that planet.

Son Goku was both lucky and unlucky.

The lucky part was that when he first landed on Earth, he was found by his late grandfather, Son Gohan, who took him back to raise him.

The unlucky part was that Son Gohan, being a single man, had no experience in taking care of children. So, during a mountain hike, Son Goku fell out of Son Gohan's basket, hit his head, and lost his Saiyan memories entirely.

Upon learning about Son Goku's childhood, Raditz stroked Son Goku's hair with a kindly expression and comforted him, "Kakarot, you've suffered. It's okay; from now on, your big brother will look after you. Just stick with me, and I guarantee you'll live the good life."

Watching Raditz play the part of the doting big brother from the sidelines, Turles couldn't help but twitch his mouth. If he didn't know what kind of person Raditz was, he almost would have believed it. He hadn't expected this thick-browed, wide-eyed guy to have such acting skills.

Besides, Raditz wanting to "look after" Son Goku? He probably had no idea what kind of cheat-code-wielding existence his brother in front of him really was.

Son Goku naturally didn't know the ins and outs of Raditz like Turles did. Having lost his grandfather at a young age, he was moved by this sudden display of brotherly affection from Raditz.

Although Son Goku could be naive at times, it didn't mean he wasn't smart. On the contrary, because he maintained a pure heart, he was extremely sensitive to the kindness or malice in others, so he knew Raditz wasn't lying to him.

However, since he had acknowledged him as his big brother, he wouldn't need to hold back when challenging him. So, the next second, Son Goku issued a battle invitation to Raditz.

Son Goku had been drawn here by Turles's energy, but since Turles had already perfectly hidden his own, Raditz—who couldn't perfectly suppress his energy—became his target.

The gratified expression that had just been on Raditz's face froze instantly. He looked at this rebellious brother in disbelief and suddenly had the urge to disown him. He wondered if it was too late to regret it.

After a long while, Raditz regained his composure. He decided he would teach this brat a lesson and show him just how powerful his big brother was.

"Sure!" Raditz smiled, showing no sign of the "heavy hand" he intended to use.

Seeing that Raditz had agreed, Son Goku became even more excited. He quickly ran to the center of Kami's Lookout Plaza and struck a classic fighting pose.

Raditz didn't stand on ceremony either; he rubbed his wrists and walked toward the opposite side of Son Goku.

As he passed by Turles, who had been watching the show the whole time, Turles suddenly spoke up: "Raditz, you aren't just going to bully Kakarot by relying on your high power level, are you? How about you keep your power level at the minimum?"

Raditz was surprised by this and looked at Turles in confusion. Seeing that Turles offered no explanation, he agreed confidently, though he felt a bit dismissive in his heart.

After all, he now had a power level of 8,000. Even if he suppressed it to the minimum of 500, he didn't believe Kakarot, with his current power level of only 300, could defeat him.

But looking at Kakarot, who was standing at the ready, Raditz felt a sudden, inexplicable sense of unease.

"Impossible, absolutely impossible!"

Shaking his head violently, Raditz told himself this in his heart.
