Background
The Seven-Colored Dragon King was one of the True Dragon Lords who opposed the Dragon Emperor's pursuit of power from beyond the world. He believed the Dragon Race's near-limitless lifespan made such a gamble unnecessary; the Dragon Emperor's summoning of World Items instead brought Players into the world and contributed to the race's decline. 168
Unlike most True Dragon Lords, he pursued crossbreeding with other races. His purpose was not merely reproduction: he hoped descendants born with Talents might offer a means to restore Wild Magic, which had been weakened and corrupted after the conflicts with Players. 143
He has produced a vast number of descendants across many races, though he shows little interest in descendants who cannot inherit Wild Magic. Drodilon, the Dragon Princess, is an exception: he regards her as especially valuable because she can use Wild Magic. 163 267
Appearance
In dragon form, the Seven-Colored Dragon King is a massive dragon wreathed in iridescent light. His elemental aura can transform the surrounding sky and land into a disaster zone. 159 163
- His dragon body is described as black while shining with seven-colored radiance. 157
- He manifests and commands fire, lightning, water, wind, earth, darkness, and light. 159 433
- In Dragonoid form, he has jet-black hair, dark clothing, and deep pupils. 243
- He can assume human and Dragonoid forms through Wild Magic. 144 243
Personality
The Seven-Colored Dragon King is an unconventional True Dragon Lord: calm, scholarly, and more willing than his peers to avoid futile wars with Players. He considers submission acceptable only when the victor is a dragon, preserving what he sees as draconic dignity. 143 158
He is pragmatic and self-interested. His decision to join Nazarick follows his recognition that Naiyuan is a dragon-blooded being stronger than himself, while the Platinum Dragon Lord's captivity confirms the consequences of defiance. 158 179
Despite his relaxed disposition, he is fiercely protective of Drodilon and reacts violently to threats against her. He annihilates the invading Orc army after learning that it intends to capture her for her bloodline. 157 162 163
His scholarship also feeds his ambition. He researches Guild Weapons and elemental magic, worries about being surpassed by younger dragons such as the White Frost Dragon Lord, and conceals certain discoveries from Nazarick for his own study. 266 433
Abilities & Skills
Seven-Element Dominion
The Seven-Colored Dragon King commands seven elements, earning his title as the “Ruler of Elements.” 163
- Manipulates fire, lightning, water, wind, earth, darkness, and light in combat. 159 433
- Can draw atmospheric elements into large-scale phenomena including tornadoes, lightning strikes, lava flows, and destructive weather. 163
- Uses elemental power to enhance his dragon body during close-quarters combat. 159
- Developed time-stop resistance through elemental-magic strategies designed from analysis of Player combat. 271
Elemental Burst
Elemental Burst is his personal Wild Magic, built around fusing multiple elements into a violent energy reaction. 502
- Its power is tailored to his elemental affinities and is less useful to beings without elemental classes. 502
- He offers it to the Deep Darkness Dragon Lord in exchange for the latter's Wild Magic, Heaven Fall. 243
- He later hands the acquired Heaven Fall over to Nazarick rather than keeping it for himself. 266
High-Tier Wild Magic: Rainbow Light
Rainbow Light is a High-Tier Wild Magic spell developed after he studies elemental magic from Nazarick's Ancient Library. 433
- Produces a multi-element energy pillar from his dragon maw. 433
- Uses transformative elemental reactions rather than simple damage amplification. 433
- The reaction damage depends on elemental mastery, elemental resistance, and the triggering combatant's level. 433
Dragon Transformation Knowledge
As a scholar of dragon blood and Wild Magic, he possesses specialized knowledge of Dragon Crystals and race transformation. 171 172
- Proposes rewriting Naiyuan's Dragonoid race into that of a true dragon using a Dragon Crystal and Wild Magic. 172
- Estimates a 90% chance of success due to the exceptional strength of Naiyuan's Dragon Crystal. 172
- States that ordinary blood purification requires the caster to exceed the target in both strength and bloodline concentration; he normally fails both conditions against Naiyuan. 172
- Imparts a strand of Wild Magic to Naiyuan to begin the Dragon Crystal absorption process. 172
Equipment / Weapons / Items
- Dragon Scale — Given to Sephis as a tracking medium and a guarantee that the Seven-Colored Dragon King would honor their agreement. 144
- Crystal Guild Weapon — A crystal longsword taken from Rigrit's group and secretly studied for its internal principles. 243 266
- Ring of Extreme Spirits — Temporarily entrusted to him by Nazarick; grants elemental Tier Magic corresponding to learned attributes, converts part of enemy elemental magic into mana or health, and increases elemental-magic power by 50%. 433
Relationships
- Naiyuan — His recognized king and the dragon-blooded Player who defeated him. The Seven-Colored Dragon King submits to Nazarick, teaches Naiyuan about Wild Magic, and offers to assist his true dragon transformation. 160 172 179
- Holy Dragon King — His old friend of several hundred years. The two are outsiders among True Dragon Lords: one favors reproduction and research, while the other prefers sleep and inactivity. 157 172
- Drodilon, the Dragon Princess — His granddaughter. He protects her and the Dragon Kingdom from the Beast Kingdom's attempt to exploit her True Dragon Lord bloodline. 162 163
- Sephis — Their first encounter begins when the King detects the scent of Platinum Dragon Lord flesh on Sephis. Sephis becomes the intermediary through whom the King first offers conditional submission to Nazarick. 143 144
- Deep Darkness Dragon Lord — A hostile rival who condemns his crossbreeding practices. They form only a temporary alliance while exchanging Wild Magic. 243
- Blood-Sucking Dragon Lord — A fellow Nazarick-aligned Dragon Lord. They clash and fight after an argument, though the Seven-Colored Dragon King considers him unlikely to act against Naiyuan. 231 232
Story Role / Major Arcs
- Encounter with Sephis — Detects the Platinum Dragon Lord's scent on Sephis, identifies him as a Player-created being, and offers submission if defeated by a dragon Player. 143
- Submission to Nazarick — Faces Naiyuan inside the World Item Mountain River Map, loses the physical contest decisively, and submits after surviving the battle. 158 159 160
- Defense of the Dragon Kingdom — Intervenes against the Beast Kingdom, destroys the Orc army, and protects Drodilon from capture. 162 163 164
- Dragon Lore Adviser — Explains the Dragon Race's history, the Dragon Emperor's role in summoning World Items, and the limitations of Wild Magic to Nazarick's leaders. 165 168

- Evolution — Reaches Level 100 after the Authority of Evolution raises the racial limits of several True Dragon Lords. 542
