The Seven-Colored Dragon King was one of the True Dragon Lords who opposed the Dragon Emperor's pursuit of power from beyond the world. He believed the Dragon Race's near-limitless lifespan made such a gamble unnecessary; the Dragon Emperor's summoning of World Items instead brought Players into the world and contributed to the race's decline. 168

Unlike most True Dragon Lords, he pursued crossbreeding with other races. His purpose was not merely reproduction: he hoped descendants born with Talents might offer a means to restore Wild Magic, which had been weakened and corrupted after the conflicts with Players. 143
