Fanatic Believer

Inside the warm metal shack, Lin An silently lowered his head and thought, as motionless as a sculpture.
His ears were filled with laughter and cheerful voices.
After gently shaking his head and refusing the dry bread a little girl timidly held out, he sighed inwardly.
Anduin and the others were delighted. The little ones nearly jumped for joy when they saw the food he had brought back.
But for Lin An, the trouble had only just begun.
The food is still far from enough.
Not only will the amount of food I consume continue to increase as my physical strength slowly recovers...
The gang will come looking for me the day after tomorrow.
So I still need food to hire an Awakener.
As he constantly calculated how much food he needed and how to make it through this month, Lin An felt weighed down, completely unlike the children, who were filled with anticipation for tomorrow.

Although he had a rough candidate in mind, Anduin could find an Awakener who was at least a "good person."
But with a simple calculation, Lin An could determine that he needed at least twenty Professor Puts, or forty scavengers, to "support" him.
If he included the consumption needed to last a month, that number would be even higher.
Approximately
one hundred and fifty to two hundred.
And that was already the scale of a small church.
There was no helping it. Although those scavengers were a little stronger than the ordinary people at the very bottom, they were not much stronger.
