Goku Was So Strong

Cell spat out a mouthful of green blood.

He grinned viciously. "Heh heh heh heh, you can't kill me!"

Clutching his wound with one hand, he gathered an Energy blast in the other and hurled it at Goku!

Goku gave a cold smile. Cell's movements were fast, but to him, they were as slow as a snail's!

He turned his fist into a claw, grabbed Cell's arm, and squeezed hard!!

Boom!

Cell's arm shattered into chunks of flesh!

Then Goku used the Kamehameha again!

Seeing that he couldn't defeat Goku or escape, Cell tore a piece of flesh from his belly and threw it to the ground!

Then the Kamehameha blasted him to smithereens!

Not a hair remained!

"That should do it, right?"

Goku muttered to himself.

Jiang Ling's voice came from not far away.

"No, no, he's not dead yet."

"Why?" Goku asked.

Jiang Ling patiently explained as he roasted meat.

"See the piece of flesh Cell threw down just now? His core is inside it. As long as the core survives, he won't die!"

Goku suddenly understood.

He searched the ground, hoping to find the piece of flesh Cell had just dropped.

"You don't need to look."

As he spoke, Jiang Ling took a piece of green roasted meat from the fire. A core was inside it.

"He just threw it over here..."

But just then, the core and the roasted meat in Jiang Ling's hand shot into the sky with a whoosh, trailing smoke.
