Background

Tsunade is Senju Hashirama's granddaughter and Hiruzen Sarutobi's direct disciple. Her status in Konoha is portrayed as symbolic as well as political: she is called the final imprint of the Senju legacy and the “Princess of Konoha.” 33 61
