"Shadow Servant, activate the attribute panel!" David sensed the increase in his spirit, but there had been no qualitative change. This told him that his spirit had likely not reached 11 points.

Sure enough, when the attribute panel appeared before him, his spirit had risen to 10.99, still short of 11.

His spirit had originally been at 10.48 points, and it had jumped to 10.99. It seemed like a considerable increase, but one had to remember that this was the result of gathering the souls of the vast majority of life on Lomb Star.

There were also the souls of ninety-two level-five stone men. Those souls had been forcibly condensed from the souls of Lomb Star's humans. Compared with genuine level-five souls, they lacked only level-five soul origin; their soul energy was no different from that of level-five souls.

Yet such an enormous amount of soul energy had still failed to push David's spirit to 11 points.

Thinking of the soul energy required by the small world within Soul Space, he truly had a long road ahead of him.

Setting aside the matter of soul energy, David refocused his mind within the Shadow Servant. Over the past few days, he had forcibly restrained himself from examining the special energy obtained from Plague God Gladstone's divine body.

In his view, special energy obtained from a god required sufficient personal strength before one could attempt to make contact with it.

Now, David had the confidence to do so. His current body was not far inferior to that of a level-five Temple Knight. If even a level-five Temple Knight's body could not come into contact with the energy inside Plague God Gladstone's divine body, then the Shadow Servant likely would not have absorbed it either.
