When David returned to the embassy, his spatial pendant contained a large quantity of seeds worth one hundred million, which he had purchased with Transcendent McCracken accompanying him.

Ten military hovercars escorted David all the way to the embassy entrance before departing. With those military personnel accompanying him, he had saved a great deal of time.

"Duke Arthur, you're back!" Ambassador Kaming seemed to have been waiting for David. The moment he saw him, he rose and bowed.

"Ambassador Kaming, I haven't delayed anything, have I?" David returned the gesture with a smile.

There had been no schedule from Ambassador Kaming on his Identity Bracelet, but he had a fair idea of what was going on.

"The military and the government had both intended to meet with you, but they've canceled all the arrangements!" Ambassador Kaming said with a bitter smile.

The matter of meeting Duke Arthur had already been tentatively discussed before David had prepared to come to Origin Planet of the Interstellar Federation.

But when Ambassador Kaming contacted the military and the government today, the replies he received were extremely vague, leaving him utterly puzzled.

After giving it some thought, the only possibility was that something had likely happened while Duke Arthur was out, something that had affected both the military and the government.
